Concept: angst because I feel like crying tonight. Jirou died in a tragic accident, but Kaminari has the chance to go back and change everything.

(Kaminari's POV)

"Hey, love. Sorry I'm a little late."

I take a seat on the grass.

"I've been trying to get back in the swing of things. It's been a few months already...It hasn't been easy."

My chest felt heavy, but there were no tears this time.

"I can't bring myself to get rid of your stuff..." I say quietly, "Every time I try to sort through it, I break down crying."

The wind blows, gently rustling the grass and the leaves of the trees.

"I got a call from your parents earlier. They wanted to know how I was doing. It's been hard...for all of us."

I lean back, resting my hands in the grass.

"I miss you so much, Kyo." I sigh, "I never thought I'd have to remember you longer than I've known you."

Another gust of wind makes me shiver. It's pretty late already.

"I should get going." I stand up, brushing any dust off the top of her headstone.

"I'll see you soon, love. Rest well."

I left the cemetery with that bittersweet feeling buried in my chest. It's been months, and I'm still grieving. Our home is quiet without you. I have no one to come home to, no one to kiss good night.

I still wear my wedding ring. You were wearing yours when they buried you.

I come home, and all I'm reminded of is you. Some of your clothes still smell like you, but the scent is starting to fade. I don't know what to do.

Sometimes, I swear I can still hear you calling my name. Your voice echoes through the house. I can't sleep at night.

I know I can't stay like this forever, but you were my other half. I don't know what to do.

Tears started to roll down my cheeks as I left the cemetery.

"Hey, over here." I hear someone whisper behind me.

I turn around to see a man standing on the corner of the road.

"It's tough, isn't it?" He asks, "Losing someone so dear to you."

I nod, "Yeah...it is."

He walks over to me and puts a hand on my shoulder, "If you were given the chance, would you do it?"

"What..?"

"Would you save them?"

I paused. Why is he asking me this?

"W-Without a doubt." I say.

He clears his throat, "With my quirk, I can send you back in time. You can go back and change everything."

It sounded too good to be true.

"What's in it for you?"

"How old are you, kid?" He asks.

"Twenty-four."

"Twenty-four years then." He whispers, "You see, every time I send someone back, I add more years to my lifespan. Since you're twenty-four, I'd get twenty-four more years added to my life."

"But...what's the catch?" I still didn't believe it.

"Nothing. No catch." He says, "Well, besides the fact you can't come back. You get one chance to fix it, but if you don't, you have to live through it all over again."
