Bey and blue were in my bathroom doing their thing , I had just gotten back from getting them clothes from beys texas home.
Apparently our parents wanted to do this big gathering thing where obviously the women cook. I was happy for that because then I could still get to stay with my baby especially since she can't cook.
I didn't pick out the outfits bey already had them laid out so when I got there Kelly handed them to me and I left. I laid the outfits on my bed and went into Sequoia's room. Salem was already in there the both of them were dressed.
It was about 12 in the evening so that meant this would run until maybe 8. I laid across my sister's and sighed.
"What's your problem?" Salem asked and I sighed dramatically again.
"I'm hungry, y'all wanna ditch?" I asked and they both looked at me and nodded.
"No one's ditching anything." My mom said standing in the frame of the door.
"Hi mommy." Quoia and I said in unison. Salem just laughed. My dad passed by the door and I rolled my eyes. I still hate him I don't give a fuck.
"Where's bey and blue?" My mom asked.
"In my room getting dressed." I said and she nodded.
"No one's ditching, its impolite especially because her family will be there." My mother said before walking away.
I got up and turned on the speaker and connected my phone. I played candy and they got up ready to dance. I laughed when my momma came back in the room.
I was never the electric slide dancer but after a few years of actually not ditching family functions I got the hang of it. We were all dancing.
We formed a circle and watched momma do her thing.
"Uh oh I'm afraid she used those moves to make you." Quoia said. I flipped her off and we all laughed. She did this hip roll thing and all of us ran away laughing.
"I'm dead!" Salem said.
Quoia was leaned against the wall laughing. My body had already hit the floor.
"Y'all are wrong." My momma said hitting each of us. Freak like me started playing and I got up and ran to change the song. My momma may be fun but she don't play that mess. She's a woman of God nevertheless.
