We were finally settled back in L.A and I was sitting in my office dealing with release dates and everything else that I neglected while I was away from work. I've been home for two months now and have been occupied with doctor visits.
We just wanted to make sure everything was okay and running smoothly.
"Mommy!" I got up and went to wherever she was in the house.
"Yes baby, I said I was working." I said and she curled her lips into her mouth.
"I just wanted to know if I could have some ice cream from nana Sade's house." She said not looking up from her iPad.
I suppose she was on the phone with Anaya. She was supposed to be over here but she had something important to do. I didn't think too much of it.
Ever since she's found out I was pregnant she's been catering to my every need so when she didn't hop up and come over I was a bit surprised. I mean she's spoiled me since this relationship has started but it's even more now that I'm pregnant.
"Yes, call your nana and papa and ask before you set up a surprise visit. What are you doin?" I asked and she turned the iPad to face me.
It was Sequoia and Salem, well that figures. They've been spoiling blue ever since she called them aunty. Solange,Kelly and Belle spoils her but it's like they're secretly having a competition.
And my baby is just like me she just soaks it up.
Her visitation with Jay had been limited so much because he's never available. He never has time for his child. I'm so happy that Anaya stepped up not only her but her family. My baby doesn't even care much for her dad and that's bad.
But that's what he caused so he has to live with that.
I waved to the girls and they waved back.
"Aunty Say, my mommy said yes but she said I have to ask papa and nana Sade because she doesn't want me to surprise them." Blue said kicking her feet while she spoke.
"Okay, you want me and Quoia to get you?" I heard her ask and blue nodded her head. I just shook my head and went back into my office. She was very much occupied out here.
Barbie was playing on the tv and she had her iPad and toys all over the house. I decided to call Anaya before I went crazy in this house. I wanted my tummy rubbed and to be fed ice cream.
The phone rang for a few before she picked up. "Baby, where are you?" I asked and I heard shuffling before she spoke.
"I'm at the base, what's up mama?" I sighed.
"Could you rub my tummy and feed me ice cream later? Blue is going with your sisters to your moms." I said and I heard her laugh.
"I'll do whatever you want baby, I should be that way in about an hour or so. You can handle that?" She asked looking into the camera.
