LORENZO RUCCI POV

Victor's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with a knowing light. "Mr. Rucci, you're a man who values control and power, you're a made man, a respected figure in the mafia. But what if I told you that your family's power is built on a lie?"

My expression remained unchanging,"What are you talking about, Victor?"

Victor took a step closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "I'm talking about the founding of your family's empire. The truth about how your great-grandfather rose to power...and the secret that's been hidden for generations."

"What secret?"

Victor's smile turned cruel. "The secret of the traitor. The one who betrayed the rival family, sparking a bloody war that lasted for years. The one who...was your great-grandfather himself."

My world began to spin, my mind reeling with the implications. My family's honor, their reputation, everything they stood for...all built on a lie.

Victor's voice cut through my thoughts, his words dripping with malice. "And now, Mr. Rucci, you're the one who's going to pay the price for that betrayal."

Victor's smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with a knowing light. "Ah, Mr.Rucci, you're just starting to understand the depth of your family's deceit. But there's more, so much more."

My eyes narrowed, my mind racing with possibilities. "What else could you possibly reveal?"

Victor chuckled, his voice low and menacing. "The truth about your grandfather's death, for starters. It wasn't a natural heart attack, Lorenzo . He was murdered, by someone very close to him."

My world spun, my thoughts reeling with the implications. "Who?"

Victor's smile turned cruel. "I can't tell, Lorenzo".

Victor's voice cut through his thoughts, his words dripping with malice. "And then there's the matter of your business dealings, Lorenzo . The way you've been manipulating the market, crushing your competitors...it's all been part of a larger plan, one that's been orchestrated by the very people you trust most."

I felt like a puppet on strings, with Victor pulling the marionette.

"And now, Lorenzo , the moment of truth. The mastermind behind the plot, the one who's been pulling the strings from the shadows...is none other than your own brother, Marco."

My eyes widened, my mind reeling with the implications. "Marco? But why? What could he possibly gain from this?"

My eyes narrowed, my mind racing with questions. "Why, Victor? Why did Marco change his mind after all these years? What made him want to be a part of the business again?"

"Lorenzo, that's the best part. You see, Marco's been playing a long game, a game of revenge and power. He left the family business decades ago, but he never lost his ambition. And when he discovered a dark secret, a secret that could bring down the entire empire...he knew he had to act."

"What are you talking about?"

Victor's smile turned cruel. "Marco discovered that your family's empire was built on a lie, a lie that's been hidden for generations. And he's determined to expose it, to bring down the entire house of cards and rebuild it in his own image."

Victor chuckled, his voice low and menacing. "Ah, Lorenzo , you're so blind to the truth. Marco's been playing you all along, using your own ambition and arrogance against you. He's been manipulating the market, crushing your competitors, and eliminating anyone who gets in his way...all to further his own agenda."

My world crumbled, my control slipping. I felt like a pawn in a game I never even knew I was playing.

"And now, Renzo, you're the only one standing in Marco's way. You're the last obstacle to his ultimate goal: total control of the mafia empire."

My eyes blazed with fury, my face twisted in a snarl. "You're lying," I spat, my voice low and deadly. "Marco would never betray me like that."

Victor shrugged, his smile unwavering. "Believe what you want, Lorenzo. But the truth is, Marco's been playing you all along. And now, he's going to take everything you've worked for."

My rage boiled over, my fists clenched at my sides. I launched myself at Victor, but he man was quick. Victor sidestepped the attack, his eyes glinting with amusement.

"You're so predictable, Lorenzo," Victor sneered. "You're just like your grandfather, blind to the truth until it's too late."

My fury unleashed, I charged at Victor again, determined to silence him once and for all. But as I attacked, a sudden movement caught my eye. Marco, my own brother, standing at the door with a genuine smile on his face.

Victor's eyes darted back and forth between Marco and I, his smile faltering for a moment before he regained his composure.

"Wait, wait, wait," Victor stammered, holding up his hands in a defensive gesture. "I think there's been a misunderstanding."

My gaze narrowed, my voice cold and deadly. "What are you talking about, Victor?"

Victor swallowed hard, his eyes flicking to Marco before returning to me. "I...I was lying. I'm not from your family's organization. I'm from a rival mafia, and I was trying to stir up trouble between you and your brother."

Marco's eyes widened in shock, but my expression remained unchanging.

"Where's the prove?" I asked coldly.

Victor, pulled out a small wallet from his pocket and flipped it open, revealing a membership card with the emblem of the rival mafia family, the Espositos.

My eyes widened in anger, my face reddening as I realized I had been duped. With a fierce cry, I launched myself at Victor, my fist connecting with a satisfying crunch as I punched the lying informant in the face.

Victor crumpled to the ground, his eyes rolling back in his head as he groaned in pain. I stood over him, my chest heaving with rage, my eyes blazing with fury.

"You lying scum," I spat, my voice venomous. "You'll pay for trying to manipulate me."

Marco, still looking worried, stepped forward. "Renzo, maybe we should hear him out. He might have information we need."

My gaze snapped to my brother, my eyes narrowing. "You're defending him? After what he tried to do?"

Marco held up his hands, his face calm. "I'm just saying, let's not act rashly. We don't know what game he's playing."

My expression didn't change, but I nodded curtly. "Fine. Let's take him to the warehouse and find out what he's really after."

Victor's face went pale as My guards moved forward, their faces expressionless. "No, no, please! I was just trying to survive! I didn't mean to cause any harm!"

My gaze never wavered, my eyes cold and unforgiving. "You should have thought of that before you tried to play us against each other. Now, you'll pay the price for your lies."

With that, the guards dragged Victor away, his pleas and screams echoing through the hall as he was taken to the warehouse to face his fate.
