Chapter 5

Eleonora Gates POV

"What are you doing in here?" I asked and he ignored me.

I walked towards the bed and grabbed my bag then headed towards the closet.

I heard the shower in the bathroom turned on and I quickly looked over to where he was on the bed.

It was empty!
How did he move so fast?
How was he so quiet?

Maybe because he is a trained mafia boss Nora.

I exited the room and walked towards the kitchen area to see if there was nothing I could eat.

Entering the kitchen my eyes landed on a cake that was on the island. I slowly walked towards it.

(Happy Birthday Nor Nor)

My heart skipped a beat as soon as that name registered in my head. I didn't hear that name in the last eight years and Lorenzo was the only person who called me that.

"Happy Birthday," A deep voice echoed throughout the kitchen.

I swiftly turned around and met a pair of icy blue eyes. My eyes trailed down to see that he was shirtless.

"My face is up here," He added coldly.

I quickly snapped out of it and my eyes met him in a split second.

"Sor... thank you," I said stuttering a bit.

He then walked towards the fridge and my eyes followed him helplessly.

"Stop staring," He said while his back was facing me.

I facepalm my face and look away

This man has to have eyes on his back.

He came towards me well towards the cake.

He took off the lid and lit the two candles that was a 2 and 3.

"Make a wish," He said in his natural deep voice.

"I wish that this marriage would end as soon as possible," I said loudly.

I opened my eyes and blew the candles then slowly looked up at him. His eyes were icier than before and his face had this dark scary look.

He exited the kitchen and bit down on my lips then began to search the drawer for a knife.

This wedding ruined my birthday and my life.

I will never get a chance to find love while being in this relationship so why would I even want to stay??

I sliced my cake and took a huge piece.
I covered it with the lid placed it in the refrigerator and then walked to the balcony. Since I had no luck I was met with Lorenzo there smoking.

He did look hot as the night lights highlighted his face.

I rolled my eyes and walked to the other end and sat down. I took a bite and moaned at the taste.

I suddenly remembered that I saw my phone in the bag that I placed in the closet I then got up and went for it.

"When are we leaving?" I asked.

He turned around and then walked towards me. I took a step back and he walked right past me.

Keep on embarrassing yourself, Nora!!!

I was at the freaking balcony door and I thought he was coming towards me well he was but he was not coming to me. He was going inside!!

I ate the remaining of my cake and watched TikTok for a while before going in since outside was getting super cold because it was winter.

I walked towards the bedroom to see that he was already in bed I guess he was asleep since he was facing the door and his eyes were closed.

I didn't ask about the sleeping place because I was not going to keep talking to someone who was clearly ignoring me.

I walked to the empty side and lay down I played a few games on my phone before sleep took me over.

I put my phone on the bedside table then made myself comfortable and closed my eyes relaxing in the silence.

Next morning

I woke up to see his side of the bed was empty. I smiled to myself then turned to the other side and closed my eyes.

Seconds later I heard the sound of curtains opening my eyes shot open and I was suddenly hit with a bright light.

Ok, he did that on purpose.

"What is your problem?" I asked coldly while using my hand to block my eyes from the sun.

"Get the fuck up," He answered in the same tone I spoke in.

I sat up on the bed then got up and walked towards the bathroom then turned to face him.

I saw that he was already staring at me so I sent him a death glare.

"Fucking pig," I muttered then slammed the door in his face.

I wasn't going to argue with him so the best thing I could do was to ignore him.

I brushed my teeth then washed my face and did my skincare routine.

I opened the door and walked out of the bathroom hoping he was gone.

I let out a scream as a hand grabbed my neck and pushed me against the wall.

then he covered my mouth.

"Shut up," he said and then removed his hand. He came in front of me not letting my neck free.

"Now listen my kitten," He trailed off while running his fingers down my face.

My legs began to grow weak from his actions.

"I see you have changed, you have gotten quite rude," He stated and I could feel his breath brush on my face while he stared into my eyes.

"Bad girls get spanking my dear Nor Nor," He whispered in my ear.

Ok, now my kitty is dripping.

"tell me do you want to get spanked?" He asked.

"Hmm," He added then placed a kiss on my cheek I froze and he continued to place soft kisses on my cheek.

"Stop," I tried to say seriously but it came out as a moan.

His phone began to ring and he growled and then let go of me, he took out his phone and walked out of the room.

What just happened?

When I came back to my senses I made the bed and then headed to the kitchen.
Lorenzo was nowhere to be found and I was happy about that.

I made myself breakfast and eat then sat on the couch. I turned on the television and was met with Lorenzo and I wedding on every channel.

Ok just great

I watched a couple of them and I hate to admit but we did look great together.

"Happy to marry your crush right?" Lorenzo's voice echoed.
