After Chloe got Angel setted in her stall, she talked to Becca. They sat in their field.
"Why are you dating such a violent guy?"
"Your brother?"
"Yeah, he's violent. You know that."
"Yeah, but that doesn't scare me. He protects me with all that strength and muscles. You have a really cool brother."
"I know. He's awesome. He sticks up for me."
"I'd love to have a brother like that."
"Sorry, he's all mine. Plus, Blake and you act like brother and sister."
"Yeah, he's just like my little brother." she smiled.
I smiled at her.
"He's pretty mad that you dumped him, you know. He's really sad."
"He just needs to know that I don't settle easily."
"Yeah. I told him that. He just doesn't believe me."
"He's not my type. Plus, I am not going to just settle down when he asks me to. I want to tame him, but he doesn't do what I want him to do."
They walked back to where the rest of them were standing. Her dad had his arm around the lady.
"Dad, I don't think we've been properly introduced."
"Oh, sorry dear." He said. "This is Heather and her daughter Julian."
"Hi. My name is Chloe."
"That's a nice name." Julian smiled, raising her eyebrows as she looked me over.
"Well, we really must be going, Ralph. Will you drive me home?"
"Yeah I most certainly will. Do you like my farm?"
"I'm not much for farms. But yes I do."
Her dad smiled. He seemed happier than he'd ever been then since their mom died. Chloe smiled at his gorgeous smile.
