Lucas leaves

Luca's P.O.V

I'd acted all strong in front of Becca. I'd wanted her to think I was brave....but I wasn't... I was scared to death. I hurried down stairs. I had to go to school with Chloe and Juliana for the last time of the school year. Nobody knew, but I was asking for a transfer today. I hadn't even told Chloe yet.

We went to school. The first thing I did was go to the office. I wanted to make sure I could transfer. I was going home right after I finished filling out the forms.

The office was really cooperative... well.... I made them be. They asked why and I said because I have reasons. They didn't argue. I think I scared them a little bit. When I got sad or scared, I got a little agressive and angry easily.

I walked out of the school.... Tonight I would be leaving this place for a few months.

When I got home, I started packing my bags. Apparently, Chloe must've noticed I wasn't at school, cause she came running in my room.

"Why are you transferring back to our old school?"

"Because I need to be there for Becca."

"What about me?"

"Your not having my kid!"

Chloe was shocked. "What?!"

 "I got Becca pregnant, okay!"

"What are you going to do about it?"

"Because.... I'm going to be a fucking father Chloe. I'm scared.... But I'm not going to let Becca just get ride of it. Nobody can say it's okay. It's not okay to just kill my kid!"

"I know, Lucas. But Lucas I don't think your ready to be a father."

"I got her pregnant. I'm the father. So I say nobody is going to do anything to that kid!"

"Lucas..."

"No, Chloe!"

Chloe started to cry. "But you promised you'd be here for me.... always."

"She needs me Chloe. I can't just let her do this all alone. I've got to take responsible."

I threw the last few things I'd need for the few months, and headed out the door. Heather was now by the front door.

"And where do you think your going?"

"I'm going back."

"Who said you could?"

I ignored her question. "I'll be back in a few months for some stuff."

Heather didn't like this one bit.

Chloe came down the stairs. I looked at her for a brief second, but after I saw her tears I looked away. I couldn't bare to see how much I hurt her, leaving like this. I ran out the door and drove away.

Chloe's P.O.V

I couldn't believe Lucas could just leave me like that. He promised me!!!! Then he left me!! I'd lost everyone in my family but Brandon. I had to hold on to Brandon. Even though we weren't as close as Lucas and I, I had to try.

I couldn't go back to school. I just stood there looking at the door.

"What are you doing home?" Heather asked me.

I could sense the anger in her voice, all because of Lucas.

"I followed Lucas home." I said.

"Why?!"

"Because he transferred and I wanted to know why."

"Did you find out why?"

"It's none of your buisness!"
