Connor looked over at Y/n, who sat next to him in the car. Her face was blank as she had frozen up, her system still rebooting. The bullet wound on her neck had been mended, thankfully her skin was able to cover the scars on her actual neck and arm.

Connor's hand was around her wrist, doing a paired system check while she was frozen. He'd been suspicious, which came from Amanda's own doubts. But he didn't expect that his or her suspicions were correct. He'd hoped they weren't.

He stayed silent as he looked over the report. Nothing made sense, which could be due to her recent injury and current reboot. But the software instability? He couldn't just ignore the fact that he's also been receiving such a warnings the last few days.

What scared him more was the fact that he didn't want to send her to CyberLife for a restart. She would go back to being the cold machine she used to be. But wouldn't that be a good thing?

Connor released her arm, disconnecting from her system. He got out of the car and approached Hank, who stood outside on the phone.

"Is everything okay, Lieutenant?" Connor asked him. Hank turned to him and waited a few seconds before replying, "Chris was on patrol last night... He was attacked by a bunch of deviants... he said he was saved by Markus himself."

"Is Chris okay?" Connor asked. Hank nodded, "Yeah, he's in shock but... he's alive." He turned away and stared out towards the snowy forest. "What the hell..." he stood still for a moment.

Connor stared at him, looking deep in thought. Then the two heard the car door open. They turned towards it and saw Y/n stepping out, looking as good as ever.

Hank smiled. "I'm glad to see you're okay." He told her as she walked towards the two. She gave him a slightly surprised look before replying. "Thank you Lieutenant." Hank gave her a small nod before turning his back to the two and walking towards the door of the house.

Connor nodded to her. "Me too, I'm glad you're alright." He almost mumbled. She said nothing and followed after Hank. Connor narrowed his eyes at her and followed after the two.

Connor walked up to Hank. "I have a bad feeling Lieutenant. We shouldn't have come here." He said. "Bad feeling, huh? Should get your program checked. Might be a glitch..." Hank replied.

The two androids looked around as the three walked up to the front door. Hank rang the doorbell. No one answered for a small minute and Hank reached out to ring it again, when the door opened.

A blonde android woman opened the door, she quietly looked at them.

Hank spoke. "Hi, uh... I'm, er, Lieutenant Hank Anderson, Detroit Police Department. I'm here to see Mr. Elijah Kamski." He told her.
