Y/n and Connor got off the subway. The two had changed out of their android clothes and covered their LED's. No one would be able to tell them apart from humans.
Connor had told Y/n about their newest mission to capture the deviants leader. Connor had seemed sure this was the only thing they could do now. To keep Y/n safe by showing Amanda she was useful, as well as keeping himself from being destroyed along with her.
Y/n was conflicted. On one hand, she had betrayed the humans by becoming deviant. On the other, she was betraying the androids by helping the humans. Nothing made sense to her. But her purpose and main mission gave her a direction to follow, it was all she had at this point. To assist and follow Connor.
Connor had transferred the key to Jericho over to Y/n as well. The two looked at the symbol before looking around. Connor found a wall and scanned it, ready to look further.
As he turned around, he saw Y/n quietly standing still as she looked around. Seeing her without her uniform made her seem even more human.
She turned towards him to find him already looking at her. "Is this really the only thing we can do?" She asked. Connor nodded. "If we don't want to be destroyed, this is what we have to do." He said.
Y/n stood quiet for a couple seconds before saying, "What if they destroy us anyway?"
Connor shook his head. "Maybe. But we have to try everything we can to avoid it. I don't want you to die." He said. Y/n turned her face away and smiled at his words. They sounded more genuine than they should've.

After a while, the two finally managed to track down Jericho, which was surprisingly on an abandoned ship by the docks.
The two entered the main room side by side and looked around. There were so many androids. On a screen inside the room, the news were showing, talking about deviants and the possible civil war.
Y/n looked at all the androids, feeling guilty for what they were about to do. Connor walked by a table, his eyes widened as he saw explosives.
The two walked through all the people, keeping their heads down to avoid catching anyone's attention.
"We've gotta do something!"
"We can't just stand here and let them slaughter us!"
"They'll kill us all if we don't do something..."
Y/n stopped walking as she looked down at a young android girl. She thought she could feel her stomach drop. An actual child? In a civil war?
The little girl looked up at her. Y/n immediately looked away, unable to look into the girls eyes. Y/n then realized she'd lost sight of Connor.
Her eyes widened as she turned different directions, but couldn't find her partner.
Connor was far ahead of her, looking for Markus. He turned to look down at Y/n, only to realize she wasn't with him. He looked around, confused. Then, someone placed a hand on his shoulder.
He turned towards the woman. "Y/n-" he spoke but stopped as he was met with an unfamiliar android woman. The back of her head was gone, her eyes were glitched and her voice was broken.
"You're lost... you're looking for something..." she spoke. Connor gave her a confused look, she spoke again. "You're looking for yourself..." she then walked away.
-
Connor and Y/n remained separated. Y/n had gone looking for him while Connor had gone looking for Markus.
