Well, this is it. Computer requirements for classes. I was worried like hell, mostly about what Jax would probably do during class.

"Don't worry Y/N! We'll be on our BEST behavior for today!" Ragatha reassured. "Oh wow. Community College. The place where poor people go when they fail at life and want another chance. Lemme guess you're THAT poor that even the ducks throw bread at you?" Jax said.

"I- what?" I asked confused.

"I know it doesn't make sense, I just wanted to insult you...you look uglier than usual today by the way," Jax stated as we entered school.

"Thanks, Jax. Your words of wisdom are truly inspiring," I muttered sarcastically, tightening my grip on the laptop.

"Eh, I try my best.~" Jax said with a grin.

As we walked through the bustling halls of the community college, I could feel the stares of students and faculty alike. It wasn't every day someone walked around with a bunch of cartoon characters in their laptop.

Kinger popped up on the screen, his eyes wide with curiosity. "Oh boy, I remember when I was in school! Do they have insect collections here?"

"They do in biology class," I replied, trying to keep my voice low to avoid drawing more attention. "We're here to learn about stuff. It's pretty basic."

Pomni's face appeared next, looking anxious. "Are you sure we'll be okay? What if they find out about us?"

"It'll be fine, Pomni," Ragatha chimed in again, her voice warm and reassuring. "Y/N has got this. Right, Y/N?"

I nodded, hoping my confidence sounded more genuine than it felt. "Yeah, we'll be fine. Just... try to keep it down, okay? I don't want to get kicked out on my second day back." As I made my way to the computer lab, I couldn't help but overhear snippets of conversations around me.

"Did you see that guy? He's talking to his laptop."

"Is this some kind of prank?"

"Must be one of those tech geeks."

I sighed, ignoring the whispers, and found a seat in the back of the room. I opened my laptop, and the characters settled down, their faces peering out curiously at the classroom.

The instructor, a stern-looking woman with glasses perched on the tip of her nose, began the lesson. "Welcome to Introduction to Computer Science. Today, we'll start with the basics: understanding hardware and software."

Jax snickered. "Basic? This is gonna be a breeze. Bet I could teach this class."

"Shut up, Jax," I whispered, glancing around nervously. "Remember what Ragatha said. Best behavior."

As the lesson progressed, I tried to focus on the instructor, but it was hard with the constant chatter from my laptop.

"...this is stupid," Zooble said going to her room.

"Do you think they have some art classes?" Gangle added hopefully.

"Guys, please," I whispered urgently. "I need to concentrate."

Ragatha shot them a look. "Let Y/N focus. We're here to learn, too."

Despite the distractions, I managed to follow along with the class. By the end of the lesson, I felt a bit more confident. As we packed up to leave, the characters congratulated me.

"See? Told you it'd be fine," Ragatha said with a smile.

I couldn't help but smile back. "Yeah, we made it through the first day. Let's just hope every day isn't this chaotic."
