Yo, I noticed quite a few mistakes in the previous chapter, and considering that I haven't uploaded for a while my apologies. Therefore, I hope you enjoy this next chapter

===========================================================================

Rimuru POV:

As Kakashi and I jump down and land on the road, I head to check on the genin while Kakashi leaves so he can interrogate the Mist brothers. I first check on Naruto, who thanks to some of the skills I had taught him before, has ended with not even a scratch. Then I check with Sasuke who decidedly ignores me therefore I leave him to brood. Sakura, who I checked with last, had no injuries because she didn't engage in combat with the two missing-nin.

Kakashi returns and asks for me, Sasuke, and Naruto to come with him, When we reach where the missing nin's Gozu and Mizu are tied Naruto questions - "Kakashi-sensei why did you ask us to come here?", while Sasuke doesn't say anything but nods confirming he also has a question about that. I stand back as I realize what Kakashi wants the two to do. "Well Naruto, Sasuke, I had thought that this being your first opponents beaten it is only right that you two get the bounty on their heads"- says Kakashi with an eye smile and then continues - " but to do that the two missing nin's need to die, in other words for confirmation of the bounty later you need to cut off their heads." Both Sasuke and Naruto gain mortified expressions as while they had prepared themselves to kill they hadn't expected to take another person's life so fast in their career. I chuckle a little because this is only right and both of them should be able to take the lives of other people to survive in this harsh world. As Naruto clenches his fists and turns his head he uses his blade to cleanly cut off the head of Mizu. Sasuke is startled at the resolve of Nauro but soon steals himself and cuts off Gozu's head with a kunai.

Naruto POV:

After taking the life of another person I again feel that feeling of terror and end up throwing up to the side because even though I did kill animals before it just doesn't compare with killing another person.

10 minutes later

Both I and Sasuke took a bit to come to with the fact that we killed another human being. Sakura had asked what happened and why the two of us were grimacing still, but no one answered.

Our group ended up continuing on the road in silence, though I was curious why Kakashi-sensei and Rimuru-sensei didn't say why those 2 missing nin's attacked.

Now it getting dark we had set up camp a bit off the road in a forest clearing where it was far enough for us to not be spotted but close enough to easily return to the road. After we finished setting up the tents and sat at the campfire Rimuru-sensei asked Tazuna a question - "So Tazuna would you be so kind as to inform us of why you had ninja after you?"

No one's POV:

Tazuna: Uh- sorry but I don't know what you're talking about Rimuru-san

Rimuru: Really? Then mind elaborating why my fellow jonin, Kakashi Hatake, who I trust with my life had lied to me when he told me that the mist brothers were after you because they were hired by a man named Gato?

Tazuna: ....*sigh* Well he didn't lie, you see Wave Country is under the tyrannical rule of a shipping magnate named Gato, he is an evil man. He has drained the country dry of almost everything and has sealed off all trade roots with his mercenary army. He rapes our women, takes the men as labor slaves, and makes us pay exorbitant prices for even the most basic of goods. He is a foul man. Now the reason he is after me is because I am the bridge builder, I am building a bridge to connect the mainland and our island nation so that we can trade, the bridge is a symbol of hope at this point. If Gato were to destroy it everyone would lose all fighting spirit and completely fall under Gato's control even my grandson and daughter wouldn't escape this fate, would you please help us?
