I sat on my motorbike with Kat, Pinkie, Kami, Kiri, Kai and Azur standing around me.

(So many K's)

"We will be able to see through the body camera I installed" Kai tapped my chest.

"Soo don't die ok" Azur gave me the thumbs up.

"You have to get going" Kacchan said gruffley pulling my hoody into place.

He lent to my ear and whispered "Please come back to me" then he pressed a kiss to my cheek and left.

With a burning face I gunned the throttle and raced off into the darkness that awaited eagerly.

---------

The dimly lit room was filled with tension as I entered, my expression neutral but senses alert.

Shigaraki, the leader of the Blood Brethren, sat at the head of the long table, surrounded by his top lieutenants.

The air was heavy with expectation as I took my seat, my presence commanding attention despite my lack of overt power.

"Ah, Deku, so glad you could join us," Shigaraki greeted, a sly smile playing on his lips. "I trust you've considered my offer?"

I met Shigaraki's gaze evenly. "I have, but I'm afraid I must decline."

A murmur of surprise rippled through the room.

Shigaraki's smile faltered for a moment before he composed himself. "And why is that? You have the skills, the influence. With us, you could be unstoppable, "

I leaned back in my chair, folding my hands calmly in front of me. "I have my own vision for the future, one that doesn't involve ruling over Japan under your banner."

Shigaraki's eyes narrowed, a hint of annoyance creeping into his tone. "You think you can stand against us? The Blood Brethren are not to be trifled with. That and we still have Shoto."

"I'm well aware of your reputation," I acknowledged. "But I also know that true power doesn't come from controlling others. It comes from forging alliances, building trust, and working towards a common goal, and you hanging my dead best friends name above me is nothing"

Several of Shigaraki's lieutenants exchanged uneasy glances. My words struck a chord, challenging the very core of the Blood Brethren's philosophy.

"You speak of ideals, Deku," Shigaraki said, leaning forward. "But ideals won't protect you from the consequences of crossing us."

"I'm not afraid of consequences," I replied evenly. "I've faced far worse in my line of work. And if you truly believe in your cause, you should respect my decision and not resort to threats."

"Bring him out" Shigaraki snapped and the guy who I think is twice raced out of the room.

"You truly believe your friend is dead, I will prove you wrong." Shigaraki began to smile. "The I will torure him until you rethink your decision about joining me."

I kept my face emotionless, "I doubt I will change my mind".

Azur POV.

We were all cramed into one small room, Kai had his arms firmly around my waist which I was more than thankful for.

Hearing Deku's cold and imposing voice sent shivers down my spin. This was why he was number one.

I glanced from the screen to where Bakugo and his team stood, all of them had matching faces of shock and fear. All but Bakugo, he watched the screen with eyes that burned with a emotion I couldn't put my finger on.

"Shit" I heard Kai mutter next to my ear and I returned my gaze to the screen.

Izuku POV

I watch Shoto get pushed into the room falling over his own feet.

I had to squash the urge to run to him and instead look indifferent.

"Your proof he's alive" Shigaraki smiled at Shoto although he spoke to me.

I stood and smiled at Shigaraki unsheathing my katana and turning my smile to the blade.

"I thought you would do that" Shigaraki stated with a shrug and nodded to Twice.

"Uncuff him the acts over"

Twice rolled his eyes and healed Sho to his feet removing the cuffs.

"Kill him Shoto" Shigaraki waved in my direction.

Shoto pulled a gun from his waist band and aimed it in my direction.

I stared at him taking in the murderous intent in his dull eyes, I watched him pull the trigger.

His eyes suddenly flashed with their normal light and he moved the gun so the bullet tore into my shoulder instead of the fatal shot he was originally aiming for.

That's not my Sho...
