The girls slept as they're supposed to, ate as they're supposed to and already have such obvious personalities.  Lucy Gray couldn't be more grateful to have such easy babies after such a harrowing pregnancy, but what she's most shocked by is the completely new side she's seen of Coriolanus.  Now granted, she hadn't known him for more than a year total before now, but from what she's been told he's never behaved this way with either of his children with Livia.  That thought saddened her, Calix and Olympus deserved a father who loves them as much as he loves her children.

"Men are loyal to the children of the woman they love, and that's never been me Lucy Gray." Livia says, pouring her a glass of wine after getting herself one, making the most of her visit. "That's not your fault, or your children's or my children's or mine.  As always, that's entirely Coriolanus Snow."

Livia passes her the cup and Lucy Gray notices the top she's wearing.  Rather, she notices the breasts in the top.

"Got a good eyefull, doll?" She asks jocularly

"Oh," Lucy Gray says, blushing "I didn't-I'm sorry I just-I couldn't help but notice your...blouse."

Livia leans back onto the dresser in their bedroom, hers and Coriolanus as it's pointless to pretend they're not both there every night, and smirks.

"Right well, I was tired of my...blouse, looking like two deflated balloons and it's not like Oly is going to latch so I got them done." She sips "I was depressed about my mother too, so I figured I could use a pick-me-up.  In more ways than one." She winks

"How is your momma?  You haven't mentioned her much." Lucy Gray asks, taking a sip as she has enough breast milk in the fridge.

"She's recovering, never going to leave her alone again for long, that's for damn sure.  But she's fine, just about fainted when I told her about my impending singleness but that's to be expected.  She still took it better than my father."

"Did they all react badly?"

"Mostly yes, except for my sister-in-law Venilia.  But her husband, my brother, was a real dick about it.  Kept berating me for not 'keeping my husband happy' and how I should stop talking to his wife, who might I just say was my friend well before they ever got married, or she might get ridiculous ideas from me." She sips again "That shithead..."

"Gah-lee!" Lucy Gray says "What an asshole.."

"Speaking of assholes, how's my soon-to-be-ex-hubby treating you?  Still thinks you walk on water and sunshine flies out of your ass and all that?"

This topic makes her uncomfortable.  Bitter marriage or not, it still doesn't sit well with Lucy Gray that Coriolanus involved her in the dissolution of it.

"Oh, Lucy Gray please, can we get passed the issue about us having been married already?  It's been almost a year, we never loved each other, we didn't even like each other."

"I know, I know.   That doesn't mean I like being labeled the mistress." She sulks "I can't believe you're as okay with it as you are, I mean you put so much into it."

"Eh," she sips and shrugs "Life has a way of changing your perspective.  So seriously, you just had two babies and you don't skimp on any time with Oly.  That can't be easy on what, for you, is a very new relationship."

"For me?"  She asks confused

"Well yes, I'm pretty sure this relationship never really ended for him in the last twelve years." Livia says chuckling and making her do the same.

"Hm, well...he's surprised me, in a good way.  Given what you'd said about him when Cal was a baby and how cold he was even with Olympus, I had very low expectations for him and he's.. far surpassed them all."
