NO ONE was surprised to not see Amelia that night at the cabin.

Like demigod dreams, Amelia's absence every night that there was a claiming, it was an unspoken agreement to not talk about it.

Unless you were Percy Jackson and you didn't exactly follow unspoken rules.

He felt like she was the start of people ignoring him. Everyone at the cabin steered clear from him as if realizing the scary Amelia did it first, they didn't stand a chance.

His status as a Big Three Kid isolated him, and just when he had started to feel accepted and that he belonged somewhere.

The next morning, he had to move to his new cabin. Cabin Three, Poseidon's cabin. He was alone all over again. The hellhound attack had unsettled everyone even if they didn't mention it to him, but after hearing what happened to the latest Big Three kid, he wouldn't be surprised if everyone thought he was putting the entire camp in danger because now that his status was revealed, monsters wouldn't stop at anything to kill him.

Percy felt miserable, in short words.

No one wanted to talk to him, not even anyone at cabin eleven wanted to have sword class with him, specially after how he dealt with those Ares' kids. He wanted to tell them he didn't do it alone, Amelia had helped with at least two of them.

Speaking of Amelia. He saw her again at breakfast, twigs and leaves were sticking out of her hair as if she had slept outside and oddly enough, no one bothered to mention it.

Percy wondered if he had anything to do with that.

And so, after breakfast finished, he followed after her when she made her way to cabin eleven.

"Hey" Percy greeted, shuffling awkwardly as he reached her side.

Amelia sighed heavily, slowing down to face him, "And here I thought I was going to have a break from you"

Well, at least she was as charming as ever. It was good to hear she wasn't treating him differently.

He was still a bit mad at her though, but he supposed that he should have seen that coming from her. He was warned after all that she was a mean girl.

"Yeah, well" Percy shrugged, starting to walk again with Amelia, hesitating momentarily, "You weren't at the cabin last night"

Great, another Luke, Amelia thought in annoyance, "So?"

"I was wondering if I did something for you to leave" Percy told her, "Is it who my father is?"

Amelia was silent for a couple of seconds, "I don't really care who your dad is, Percy. Much less than he does"

There was thunder rolling across the sky and she rolled her eyes as they both looked upwards.

"Just stating facts" Amelia murmured under her breath.

"So why weren't you there?" Percy asked, a bit surprised that he wasn't the only one getting thunder when talking about the gods.

"Frankly, I don't think it's any of your business" Amelia told him with another roll of her eyes.

Percy pursed his lips but didn't push the subject further. At least he wouldn't yet.

"Fine" Percy reluctantly dropped the subject as they reached her cabin, "Are you going to class now?"

"Nope" Amelia said... Cheerfully? It was hard to tell with her, unless she was smiling at your pain. "I have the day off"

Percy furrowed his eyebrows, "But everyone has-"
