"Kira."

The woman who was supposed to be dead, the woman who was the heart of this man in whose arms she was completely engulfed, The same damned woman who was the biggest reason of the hell, an innocent woman suffered from her own husband's hands. Laira stared at the woman with mixed emotions, hatred, disgust and shock.

She was supposed to be dead right? She was told by everyone that Kira died in the plane crash then how? How she was still alive? If she was alive then she must had known what was happening with Laira, she must had a proper knowledge of what Alec had put her through because of her lies then why didn't come back earlier? Seemed like she was far more cruel than Laira had thought of her as.

Alec's frozen frame indicated how he was in a pure shock, he didn't hug her back or said a word, Kira also noticed his stiffen muscles and finally pulled her face away from his chest and looked up with her teary eyes. The moment their eyes met Alec raised his palm placing it over her cheek which brought a large smile from the crying woman.

The man completely forgot about the woman standing behind him until they all heard a familiar voice, "Laira, where are you? I brought this----" Mira's voice brought Alec out of his trance when his head snapped to his wife whose eyes were already staring at him.

Her eyes were indifferent, she didn't look surprise, or even hurt by whatever he was doing just a seconds ago, instead she had the weird mocking smirk over her lips like she was announcing how ridiculous he looked right now when he claimed to love her now. Soon enough she ignored his guilty eyes turning her attention towards Mira who also stared at Kira with stunned expressions.

"Kira, how the hell?" Kira timidly wiped her eyes before turning to Mira who held the two bags of different fruits for Laira.

"It's a long story, I am willing to explain everything," With that she turned towards Laira who narrowed her eyes at her.

"Laira, my cousin, I---"

"Save your acting for them, they can believe it, I won't." With that she walked inside the mansion ignoring the tries of her husband to hold her wrist and her sister in law who looked concerned, but they didn't understand one thing, she didn't give a shit, she just wanted a rest.

Alec turned to Kira and took her to the living room followed by Mira, the woman in tears explained everything how she didn't take the plane which was crashed, she didn't go to Italy as she told him, she actually went to Russia and after she resided there she stopped every contact here. She was in contact with parents who told her that Alec got married to Laira and that was it.

"They never shared anything to me, and I swear Alec I tried to move on, I tried so hard until one day accidently mom said that you're not happy with this marriage and that Laira seemed to have affair with her friend, I blamed myself for pushing you to take such a step so I came back. I love you Alec, I tried but I couldn't move on." Silence engulfed the room after she shut up letting a small sobs filled the air.

Mira glared at Kira while Alec soon enough let out a small scoff, "First of all, Laira isn't a cheater, she never had any kind of affair, so mind your tongue when you talk about my wife," Kira froze staring at Alec in shock, she didn't expect him to defend Laira, the woman she thought he hated.

"Lastly, I am not leaving her, not now not ever, so you better keep up your tries of moving on, because," He steadily stood up making her follow him as he tilted his head up announcing his decision.

"I have moved on, I am very much satisfied and happy with my marriage, I love my wife, so you better move on." Mira couldn't hold back the smile as she looked at her brother who stood up for his wife, he had been defending Laira a lot recently, she didn't know if it was because of her being pregnant but now she realised, Laira's efforts didn't go to waste, she eventually won over him.
