Author's Pov

Life is beautiful, that's what her naive self used to think, she always reminded herself that cruelty was just a name, a misleading ones to be precise but she had never understood why she mever had to endure such name in her life. She was sheltered her whole life, her parents and loving brother gave her everything she ever wanted, she was the little protected princess of the royal home until the reality hit her delusional world.

She abandoned the people who loved her and cared for her wholeheartedly for the man who didn't even glanced in her way, she should have known having someone will never be equal to conquering them, he was hers yet at the same time she didn't have his heart, trust and soul. She was just a mere tool he used to vent out his anger, she wished she wasn't foolish enough to let him and his family to drag her until I she left with nothing.

She still remember the night when she faced with the real face of the man she supposedly loved, the night she decorated everything, wanting to start a fresh, she even kicking her self respect away was ready to forgive him but she was granted with a terrible slap, the very first one she got from the time she was born. And ironically it was from the man she loved.

That night she realised how much of an ungrateful bitch she was, she left the people who gave her everything for the one who left her with nothing. Her love for him turned numb and was soon replaced with hatred, so much she felt repulsed whenever he touched me, she still curse the night she let him take an advantage of her vulnerability and proceeded to engrave his seeds in her womb.

Her hand gently touched my stomach, funny how once she actually wanted to have a family with this monster, this baby had no fault, it wasn't their fault that their father was hated by their mother and was a cruel monster. It wasn't their fault that their mother couldn't bring them to life even if she wanted to, she just didn't have it in her to give them a life. Her body didn't have that capability anymore.

There was still an option of being on ventilator until she would give a birth, but she didn't want that, she didn't trust that man, if he could torture an innocent like her due to someone's lies, God knows what he might to do this child if any misunderstanding ever occurred after her. If she would had a slightest chance to live, she would have loved to bore this child, but would never give that bastard another toy to play with, when she wouldn't be here, she wouldn't let her child be here as well just to suffer in that monster's hands.

Laira stared at the ceiling with sad eyes as she it was the time for the abortion, the doctor did gave her choice and asked her if she wanted anyone with her right but she simply refused claiming that there was no one for her to call here. She soon felt them injecting her, just when she closed her eyes she heard the commotion outside but the doctors had already started the procedure and there was no way back.

Alec made a whole fuss out of the operation theater trying to barge in to stop them but it was impossible, the guards held him back and soon enough he helplessly watched the operation going on. Tears rapidly caressed his cheeks letting him fall on his knees, he wanted this child so badly, he had all the plans for his little child but but now he was forced to accept this reality.

Soon enough the operation ended and the doctor appeared from the closed door, Alec stood up reading to pounce at the innocent man who jerked away from him in horror, the man looked like a maniac. "I am going to kill you! How could you perform an abortion without informing the father?" He struggled letting the bodyguards had a hard time recoil his body.

The doctor removed the mask and scoffed in annoyance, "Mr. Gerald! You're still thinking about the child! We had to perform an abortion because it was the only way to make the death less painful for your wife!" This froze the man, he stopped struggling and almost fell on the ground if it wasn't for the guards holding him.
