Ruby felt guilty from her thoughts a few hours prior, she didn't want to tell Beth to stop feeling like doing something bad to herself.

Ruby couldn't. Ever.

Ruby was finally now away from the Greenes house , she was coloring in a book Carol had given her. It used to be Sophia's.

She looked up from her coloring book to see Shane and Rick come back from 'killing' Randall.

He was in the trunk and they took him to the shed. He had blood all over him. Ruby being the curious eleven year old girl quickly stood up and followed Rick and Shane.

Daryl was also behind them. They threw Randall into the shed. Ruby made her way to the back of the shed and climbed up a ladder that was against the wooden wall.

She adjusted herself onto a stack of hay as she saw Daryl beat him up.

She almost slipped multiple times but saved herself. Finally after a good 30 minutes Daryl left.

"Your names Randall? For real?" Ruby said coming up from behind the shadows. Randall's eyes widened as he quickly saw a way to try and manipulate the little girl.

She was oblivious, but not all the time.

But he didn't know , and that was her advantage.

"Hey little girl! Hey! Can you get me some water! I'm real thirsty!" He pleaded. Ruby scoffed and splashed water on his face.

"Your shirt! It's real cute! I love it! Hey the sheriff guy seems real nice I like him!" He ranted. Ruby decided to play innocent and mess with the older boy , this would probably get her in a lot of trouble.

But she was so bored. So what was the problem? These people didn't boss her around.

"Yeah! Me too!" She agreed but a hint of anger was laced into her voice. "He's really nice! You would like him!" She finished smiling.

"Yeah! Yeah I would! Now why don't you go on and get those keys there and unlock this thing! It's hurting my wrist!" He pleaded but played innocent.

"I can't do that. My group would get mad at me." She replied , suddenly going oblivious.

she stopped as she said those words. 'my group'
Everyone thought of her as just a little girl that they took in , but to Ruby they were people who showed that they cared , and it scared her.

she suddenly felt annoyed and decided to just leave randall with a frown on his face. luckily she hadn't been caught and she just left.

"Hi." A female voice spoke from her side. Ruby looked up to see Maggie.

"Hi Maggie." She greeted back drinking a sip of water.

"Are you ok? I saw you running." Maggie said sitting next to her. "I'm ok. Just confused." Ruby replied back.

"Why confused?" Maggie asked looking down to the young girl.

"I was talking to someone and I said 'my group' I just never thought about these people being my group." Ruby replied. Playing with her fingers.

"What do you mean? I thought you've been with them since the start. Were you not?" Maggie asked her eyebrows pinched together in confusion.

"No. I found them just a day before we got here. It's scary sometimes. I never really thought I'd be in a group. I just want to find my mom and dad." Ruby replied sighing at the mention of her family.

Maggie sat down beside Ruby.

"Did you have siblings?" She asked curiously.

"Yeah. I had two. AJ and Becca. They were real nice. I loved my mom a lot, I don't know how to feel about my dad though , he was in the army so I didn't see him much. But I love him. I guess." Ruby said.

"Oh ok." Was all Maggie said.

Maggie didn't know how to comfort an eleven year old very well. But Ruby thought the opposite , Maggie was nice and she felt a little better.

"Is Beth doing better?" Ruby asked out of the comfortable silence.

"She's talking. Yeah I guess she's a little better." Maggie replied smiling at the mention of Beth.

"I think Beth and Carl are my only friends. Well of course you and Glenn too. He's nice. So are you Maggie." Ruby sincerely said looking at Maggie.

Maggie smiled and hugged Ruby.
