Lexi runs into Los's dorm room, closing the door behind her, sliding her back down it. "What happened to you?" He asked her.

"Jordan kissed me." She said slowly, staring out into space.

"It's about time." He responds, nonchalantly.

Lexi's eyes darted to him. "You knew about this!"

"You didn't!" He yells back at her. "The only question I have is, why are you freaking out? Don't you like them?"

She stands up, starting to pace around the room. "Of course I like them. They're my best friend, the only person on this Earth I can tolerate sharing a room with."

"You know that's not what I mean." He tells her.

She takes a lot of deep breaths, starting to panic, shaking her hand in front of her chest. "I...I love them. I've always loved them." She tells him, her breaths getting closer together. "But I left, they kissed me and I left."

She stops pacing her hand no longer shaking and instead is placed on her chest. "I can't breathe. Why can't I breathe?"

Lexi falls to her knees, trying to catch her breath. Los runs over to her grabbing her hands. "Hey, hey, look at me, ok?" She looks up at him. "You have to take deep breaths, ok, like me."

He takes a deep breath and Lexi tries to follow, her panic subsiding the smallest amount. "How did you do that?" She asks him, her breaths finally starting to return to normal.

"You had a panic attack, Alex." He tells her. "Like you used to when you were little."

"But I haven't had a panic attack in years. I forgot how bad it was." She says the last part more to herself.

"That's not true, you had one earlier. During our interview with Tek Knight." He tells her. "You have a tell when you're about to have a panic attack, your hand tremors."

She remembers back to when she was pacing the room her hand was shaking and again when Tek Knight was talking about her father. "What am I supposed to do?"

"I can't tell you that." He tells her.

"The last time I loved someone, I put him in a coma for three and a half years." She tells him. "I couldn't live with myself if I did that to Jordan."

"In Jordan's defense, they're a lot more durable than Noah Walden." He laughs, but Lexi was still too frantic to find any humor in the statement. "That was a long time ago, Lex. You have control over your powers now. You won't hurt them."

"But what if I do." She tells him. "And it's not exactly like dating is Jordan's thing. They like to sleep around. It would crush me if I just turned out to be one of their flings."

"Trust me, you're not." He reassures her. "They've been in love with you since elementary school, it was pretty obvious actually."

Lexi's hand begins to shake again, realizing that she didn't realize this before, or that it must have crushed them when she left.

Los walks back over to her quickly, grabbing her hand. "Calm down." He tells her. "Go talk to Jordan, tell them everything you told me. Maybe they're having the same thoughts as you, but you won't know unless you talk to them."

Both of their phone's buzz with an alarm. "After class. Talk to them after class." He said reaching into his pocket to turn off the alarm that told him it was time for class. "Come on." He tells her, grabbing her hand and guiding her out of the room.

They went by Lexi's dorm to grab her bag and then made their way to the classroom. As if fate was trying to spite her, the only open spot left was next to Jordan. She sits down, neither of them making eye contact with each other.
