Ben 10 Radiant War Part 2. Volume 2.

A Greek Tragedy.

Ben didn't know what to expect from a "Walk" with Kratos. 

The last thing he expected however, was a trip to the Training Area to feed the School Pet. 

Naturally, the School Training area as a ginormous habitat dome miles wide, was able to hold some feisty monsters, some of which were released into the dome for training purposes, others simply because it was convenient for them to live there as fauna. 

But some things in the school were kept for 'security purposes'

"We run a school filled with super powered students who probably have plenty of enemies. Naturally I would expect somebody to wanna get in here and cause trouble." Nia had once said. "We boast a variety of security features at this school. The foremost one is our Head Security Officer.. the second is our Guard Dog.. though he isn't technically a Dog."

Ben didn't know a thing about the Head Security Officer except that according to rumors, he had a pet rabbit named Daisy and that he was the one staff member Gojo didn't dare mess with even once. 

As for the Guard 'dog', Big G was supposed to watch over the Training Area and deal with rogue creatures that got out of hand during training. 

Big G was loyal to Nia and feeding him was a normal part of school duties and chores that each student got involved in at least once in their time at the Academy. 

In fact, it was rumored Nia tended to give him away to a worthy student she felt worthy of Taming and Commanding him, as Big G followed students it felt were worthy.. though she always ended up getting Big G back in the end as she was effectively immortal and the previous owners eventually died of old age.. and Big G always ended up staying at the school due to his apparent gargantuan size. 

Feeding Big G though was always a bit of a tricky thing however.. 

Indeed, Ben couldn't help but feel a little dumb at times when he had to roll a giant barrel marked "Radioactive"  up the large rocky path leading to the huge overhanging cliff cave entrance that was the size of several sky scrapers.. 

Of course he didn't roll it.. 

An alien carried it. 

Humungousaur lumbered up the rocky path till he stopped on the edge of a cliff standing opposite a huge gray mountain of obsidian that stood tall against the false glass sky, the cave on its side massive enough to let in several of Asuka's EVA Omega at once. Massive lake water sloshing at its bottom

What Big G might be.. a Kraken, a Sea Serpent.. Clifford the Big Red Vulpimancer... raced across Ben's mind as his alien form set down the barrels he had piled in his arms. 

From behind Humungousaur, Kratos stepped over, carrying a barrel over each arm.

Apparently the barrel's ability to block radiation from leaving was enhanced with Omni to prevent students and teachers alike from getting radiation poisoning when handling Biggie's food. 

"Here is good." Kratos grunted as he tossed the barrels into the lake. 

Humungousaur did the same with his barrels, using his strength to make sure they flew far into the cave. 

"SKREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOONK!" A roar shook the place, causing minor quakes. 

Ben couldn't help but feel the roar felt familiar at times. 

"What is he?" Humungousaur muttered. 

"Hmmm.. I fought him once.." Kratos said. 

"You.. did-?"
