Diana Magpies woke up in her small bedroom at approximately four am, despite needing to be at her first class at 9 AM.
She sat up, dressed in her soft lavender nightgown, her dyed white hair tucked away under her matching silk bonnet.
As she crawled out of her bed, she grabbed her white phone from her nightstand, tiredly sliding through her notifications, as she shuffled slowly to her bathroom.
Her eye landed on a message from RobinnGrrl247, aka Robin Wang, on her messaging app.
Diana's heart skipped a beat for a second, as she grabbed her glasses from her room, before darting back into the bathroom.
As she put her glasses on, she was able to see the message from Robin clearly.
Can we talk b4 class pls <3

Diana blushed profusely, before she confidently looked at herself in the mirror.
"Okay, Diana." She spoke softly to herself, running her dark hand over her face. "Robin Wang, AKA the girl you've had a crush on since starting college wants to talk to you."
Diana quickly took a deep breath as she got into the shower, taking a hairbrush with her.
As she showered, she ran her fingers through her thick hair, sighing.
"I hate having to wake up so early for this..." She murmured to herself, keeping her eyes closed. She ran her hands through her hair again and felt her eyes well up with tears as the strands of hair curled around her fingers like snakes.
Objectively the worst part of showering.

As she got out of the shower, she tucked her body into her purple bathrobe, as she pulled out her haircare products, sighing as she knew how long this would take.
She made sure the bathroom door was closed, as she put on her music and got to work.
After about two hours later, Diana stepped out of the bathroom.
Her hair was straightened, with her sharp white bangs hanging over her forehead like a neat set of curtains, and she had light makeup on her face.
She had also touched up on the color, as her black hair was starting to fade back in, and she wanted it white.
She moved to her closet, which was a large walk in closet, but as she turned on the light and opened the door, she was suddenly pulled into the closet, with the door slamming behind her, and the light crackling, until it eventually left her in the darkness.
"Hel-" Diana tried to cry out, but she felt a chill rush over her, so she squeezed her eyes closed.

Opening her eyes, Diana found herself in a white space, with a woman around the same age as her standing in front of her.
She had short black hair and wore a black and red combat suit. She looked Diana up and down, not saying a word.
"W-" Diana couldn't speak, looking around. It was an endless white void, stretching on for miles and miles.  "Am... I dead?"
"I sure hope not, we just met." The woman spoke. She had a sweet voice, which didn't match her jaded expression. She held out a hand to Diana, her nails painted red. "My name is Queen Sable."
"Queen...?" Diana looked confused, as Sable waited for the girl to shake her hand, which Diana awkwardly took, despite hating physical touch with strangers. "Where am I?"
"It..." Sable sighed, letting go of Diana's hand. "It's a long story, and I guess you have no choice but to believe me because you've been summoned in here spiritually."
"Spiritually?" Diana sounded more confused.
"Oh, your body is perfectly fine in your realm." Sable put her hands behind her back. "So... how do I begin to explain this?"
"Make it quick." Diana said bluntly, remembering about Robin's invitation.
"Don't worry, time isn't moving while you're inside this." Sable then took a deep breath. "This realm is called 'Earth', right?"
"Yes...?" Diana looked confused, hesitant to answer this strange woman, wondering if she had been drugged somehow.
"I am a Queen from another dimension." Sable said. "A wonderful lush land called Jesteria."
"Other dimensions?" Diana looked skeptical.
"This... place, that you're inside of is a pocket dimension." Sable looked around, looking nervous, but Diana didn't notice. "I don't know how much time has passed, but back on my world, me and my younger sister had a fight over... this." Sable held her hand up, showing a transparent glass prism.
"Oh, that reminds me of an album I like." Diana said, not sensing the severity of the situation.
"And I suspect that in our fight, our combined magic took us here, to Earth." Sable continued, before she sighed. "In my desperation, I tried to trap us both inside of this Prism, but it must've backfired."
Sable fell to her knees, and began to cry, leaving Diana to stand awkwardly and watch.
"My sister, my poor baby sister..." Sable whimpered. "She didn't get pulled in, I think."
Sable then stood up, her eyes wide. "Oh no... that means..."
"So...are you going to explain why I'm here?" Diana then asked, nervously fidgeting with the hem of her bathrobe. "I didn't even get to put on real clothes yet..." She added with a murmur.
"Oh! Right." Sable raised her hand into the air, purple magic swirling around her palm. "My magic is weak in this dimension, and I believe my power didn't trap my sister inside this Prism, but inside a human vessel."
"So...?" Diana was still confused, trying to focus on Sable's words, so she stared at the red combat boots the woman wore.
"I've decided that the best course of action is to train seven humans to wield the powers of the Prism, as a means of defense until I'm able to regain my full power." Sable said, pointing at Diana. "And you're the lucky first candidate!"
"Me?" Diana was shocked, her eyes widening, as they darted up to make eye contact with Sable.
"The Prism teleported to your bedroom for a reason, my dear..." Sable waited for Diana to say her name.
"Oh. Diana. Diana Magpies." Diana then frowned. "So... you're giving me... powers?"
Sable nodded, casting the purple magic over Diana.
"But..." Diana protested, as purple magic began to flow through her. It was almost overwhelming, as the sounds of clocks ticking rushed around her.
"Diana, I may have just met you, but I can see your soul." Sable said slowly, smiling softly at Diana. "Your biggest wish in your heart right now is to be with one named Robin Wang."
"How did you know that...?" Diana said, blushing heavily as the purple dust settled.
Sable smiled, tapping her forehead, before she pointed at Diana's heart.
"As a magical Queen, one of my many powers is to view a persons intentions." Sable then looked down. "It didn't do me good in my world, I hope it can do me good here."
"So... you gave me powers." Diana said, looking to her hands. "What powers exactly?"
Sable perked up, looking to Diana's hands. "Your soul told me you were the perfect candidate for the powers of Time & Space."
"WHAT?!" Diana shouted. "I'm a god?!"
"Well..." Sable grimaced slightly. "Not exactly."
Sable took Diana's hand, out stretching her own to the white void. "In all the years of the Prism existing, no Queen nor person bestowed the power has ever discovered how to channel the powers of space."
"So, I just have time powers then." Diana said, looking at her hands. "But... how?"
Sable opened her palm. "First, you need to summon your weapon, which as the timekeeper, you have this neat little pocketwatch."
"Oh nice, a WATCH as a weapon." Diana said, rolling her eyes, as she held out her hand. Purple mist obscured her hand, as a silver pocketwatch materialzed in her palm.
"Tada!" Sable chuckled. "Now, with this watch, you can control time."
Diana looked down to the watch, looking at the face of the clock, noticing little dials next to it.
"With this, you can pause time, rewind, fast forward, and jump to any point in time." Sable explained. "But, you're not invincible. If you freeze time for too long, your power will start to harm you from the inside."
"What? Why??" Diana widened her eyes. "Doesn't that defeat the point?"
"It's just a side effect from being granted the Prism's power, and not being the one who was chosen by the Prism itself, you know?" Sable shrugged. "Besides, your power is more of a defense then an offense, because you're going to have teammates."
"Teammates?" Diana frowned. She didn't have friends, and this sounded like she was going to be forced into having friends.
"Well, here's the thing." Sable smiled at Diana. "Using my power, I can transform into an animal." She said, as red magic covered her, transforming herself into a fluffy black cat.. "And I'm going to accompany you in the real world to find the other six candidates!"
"My parents WON'T let me have a cat." Diana protested, trying to come up with excuses, still hoping this was a prank.
"Well, lucky for you, I was able to rewrite their memories with my power." Sable purred, pacing around Diana.
"So...?" Diana looked down at the cat, a concerned expression on her face.
"Your kitty, Sable, has been in the family for a while." Sable said, sitting down at Sable's feet.
"Weird." Diana took a deep breath. "So... now what...?"
"Well, I'm going to release us into the real world, and you are going to seek out the six other humans that resonate with the other powers of the Prism." Sable said, looking up to her.
"Great." Diana grumbled, as Sable lifted her furry head to the sky, as the white began to fade around the two.

Diana opened her eyes, laying on the floor of her closet, only wearing her purple robe, with the cat pawing at the door.
"Can anyone else hear you talk?" Diana whispered, as she opened the door to let Sable out into her bedroom.
"Oh yeah, forgot to explain that, woopsie." Sable's voice echoed in her head. "So with my connection to the Prism, and your newfound connection, I'm able to speak with you telepathically."
"Ah!" Diana covered her ears, squeezing her eyes closed.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you, but yeah, thats the gist." Sable walked out of the closet, looking around the room, her feline back away from the closet. "Whoever is chosen by the Prism will be able to hear me as well, so it won't seem like you're crazy, at least at first."
Diana rolled her eyes, as she closed the closet, and turned to her clothes, reminding herself that she was going to be meeting with Robin.

Fishing through her clothes, she settled on a white button-up shirt on top of a dark purple pleated skirt, as well as dark black leggings and her black mary-janes.
As she put her clothes on, she thought about Robin, idly running her dark fingers through her white hair.
Diana wanted to get to know her, but she wasn't sure if this was love, admiration or the fear of missing out.
She hadn't ever dated anyone outside of her best friend Ricky in middle school, but they never did anything more than holding hands, and even then, Diana always felt awkward and clammy.
Looking over her outfit, she grabbed her white framed glasses, and stepped out of the closet, going to her desk, where she had a bucket of various pins with different pop culture references and more.
She fished out the bisexual pin, as well as one that had lyrics by Taylor Swift on it, and grabbed her violet backpack, pinning the pins onto it.
Glancing once over her bag, she frowned at the bisexual badge for a brief moment, before glancing over to Sable, who was sitting by Diana's bedroom door.
"Uh. You can't come to school with me." Diana said, staring at the cat.
"Really?" Sable pawed at the door. "I thought humans adored cats!"
"Can't you just shapeshift into a teenager or something?" Diana put her hands in her pockets of her skirt. "Not all humans like them."
"Hmmph, went through all this trouble of being this adorable feline." Sable turned away, before lifting her head, red magic flowing around her, transforming into a teenager.
She looked to be the same age as Diana, with short black hair that resembled a flapper hairstyle from the 1920's. She was wearing a white t-shirt with a joker card on it under a red blazer on top of black ripped jeans, and plain white sneakers. She smirked at Diana, who stared, unfazed.
"You're hard to impress." Sable said, putting her hand on the doorknob.
"Wait, what about my parents?!" Diana suddenly rushed forward, jumping in front of the door.
"Oh yeah." Sable put her hand to her chin, before she looked to the window. "I'll meet you outside."
"This is a two story house..." Diana said, frowning.
"Relax." Sable transformed once again, this time into a red cardinal, flittering to the window. "Open please!"
Diana rolled her eyes, as she walked to the window, opening it wide for Sable, who flew outside, landing in Diana's front yard, flying into a bush. A few moments later, human Sable peeked her head out, waving to Diana.
