Chapter 25: Ouyeah finally they date

Wizard Cookie, a simple Cookie made of ice cream as his main ingredient. A little mage that seeks knowledge about his... powers. He's very sure that an average Cookie wouldn't have. The only Cookies he know that uses 'magic' are Expresso Cookie, Licorice Cookie, Devil Cookie and Blackberry Cookie. But none of them used lightning magic.

He used to spend his peaceful days in the ruins of the Gnome Village that took him in, fighting Cake Monsters and collecting jellies. However, now he's fighting gods? But it isn't that bad... 

It was very bad. 

Ever since he met Gingerbrave, he felt that his heart warms just at his presence and feels like an unknown force makes him want to get closer to the gingerbread cookie. He didn't know what to name that feeling, but after reading some scattered books about Cookie psychology in the Blueberry Yogurt Academy he discovered that it was called: Love.

Now at every little interaction he has with Gingerbrave he has to keep distance, because if he didn't, he might explode internally and mess up his spells. When he rambles about how magic is superior to alchemy and Gingerbrave just sat there listening every word of his and when Wizard Cookie realized, he would just start mumbling about how silly Gingerbrave looks while listening to him. 

After the events of the Hollyberry Kingdom, he found out that he wasn't the only one. Gingerbrave feels the same butterflies in his stomach when they're both close to eachother.

"Who wouldn't like you? You're one of the coolest Cookies I know!...I-I mean, you're so awesome that anyone would date you...!" Gingerbrave's voice keeps resonating in his mind, the first part wasn't expected by him, and the second even less. Wizard Cookie can't seem to forget his words. After much thought, he decided to discuss this with Gingerbrave. (Communication, kiss me.) 

"What did you want to talk about Wizard?" Gingerbrave asked as Wizard Cookie was leading him to a clearing where the mage knew they wouldn't be interrupted.

"I want to ask something, do you like me?"

"O-of course! You are cool! ... A-and you're kind and considerate, even if you try to hide it...!" Gingerbrave answered.

Wizard Cookie was blushing brutally as he put a hand up his tomato-colored face: "Not that...! I mean... if you love me..."

"O-oh." Gingerbrave was embarrassed at his words, he basically confessed to him like those 'high school girls', according to Strawberry Cookie with her newly-obtained small gaming console she brought from a holliberrian merchant. As Gingerbrave was trying to compose himself, Wizard spoke: "... even if I was a monster?"

Gingerbrave was confused. Monster? No! Even if he was one he would still date him! Again, he has got wings now, so does that make them both monsters?

"I would! I mean- aren't I technically a 'monster' now?" Gingerbrave replied as Wizard Cookie took off his mage hat and lifted the ice cream hair he has that covered his other eye. On top of his head grew two aquamarine horns and his right eye had the same blue, but with a slit pupil.

"Wow, he's the definition of cool now." Gingerbrave thought. When his eyes met with Wizard's, he knew what it meant: he said out loud his inner thoughts again.

"...Will you still date me...?" Wizard Cookie asked, feeling ashamed of his appearance that spooked Gingerbrave. He thought that Gingerbrave's wings were beautiful, like a warm ember in the darkness. That he shouldn't hide them, but obviously that would attract unwanted attention.

..."And what if I say yes?"

Gingebrave answered as he hugged Wizard Cookie and kissed him. Wizard Cookie was happy, very happy. So happy that he might blow up their surroundings, but he controlled himself, he doesn't want to hurt his now-boyfriend. The kiss felt like forever and Wizard Cookie wished that it lasts eternally.

They walked back to the group holding their hands proudly, well, mostly Gingerbrave. Wizard Cookie's face was as red as a tomato even if he covered it with his hair and scarf, Gingerbright and Strawberry Cookie noticed.

"Wow, just wow." Gingerbright spoke sarcastically.
