waves of poignant i had to endure
for me to able to understand you.
you saw me in my bold blues,
yet you still don't have any clue.

i don't blame you for being you,
or how our hues are poles apart.
but our blood remains impart.
i want you to say something, just a few.

our communication left cemented,
i'm slowly carving it to make a dent.
for me to be closer and to represent
that i chose to be patient.

your tone is kept locked from behind.
i wonder what sound i'll find.
i'm waiting until i hear you say,
"thank you for being able to stay."
