Loki hadn't seen Keya in a few days, and he knew something was wrong the last time she visited, so he couldn't help but worry. He walked to the stables and saw the red-haired man brushing Thor's stallion.

"Prince Loki, how may I be of service?"

"Where is Keya?" he shrugged.

"She didn't say a word to me or Bjaldgor at all today, and then she just left. She's been gone for hours, so Bjaldgor left to find her." Loki grunted in frustration. "We had a doctor come in the other day, a well."

"What did they say? Was she okay?"

"She didn't say anything. Keya told her not to. Then she was in her room for a few more hours before she came down and acted like nothing was wrong. She was saying that she was going to go to the palace when Frigga came back, but Bjaldgor checked the castle and the guards said that they hadn't seen her all day." Loki nodded and left for the palace.

He walked in and saw Thor talking with one of the maids, obviously flirting.

"Thor, where's mother?"

"I believe she went into her chambers. I saw Lady Keya with her, though." Loki thanked his brother and made his way to his mother's chambers as quickly as possible. Her handmaiden was standing outside.

"Let me in." Loki said when she stopped him.

"Queen Frigga told me not to let anyone in until she says."

"Then tell her that her son needs to see her immediately." She shrugged and knocked on the door before opening it.

"Your majesty, Prince Loki wished your presence." Loki looked through the crack and saw Keya sitting across from his mother. Her eyes were red from tears, and it hurt him to see her like that.

"He'll have to wait. This needs to be private." Her handmaiden nodded and closed the door.

"I told you. I'm sorry Prince Loki. You'll have to come back later. They've been in there for a while, and it may be a while longer." Loki shook his head.

"No, I'll wait here." He stood against the wall, trying to hear their conversation, but Frigga must have been using magic to mute them. Eventually, Thor came along.

"What's going on?"

"Keya and mother are having a private conversation. She wouldn't let me go in." Thor nodded and stood next to his brother. They stood in silence for a while before the door opened and Keya walked out.

"Keya, are you all right?" Loki asked and began to follow her. Thor was about to follow as well, but his mother caught his arm and shook her head, telling him to let them talk.

"I'm fine. Please, just leave me. I need time to think."

"Think about what?"

"I-I can't tell you. Not yet."

"Please, Keya. You can tell me anything."

"Not this. I have to find a way to tell you properly."

"Does it have something to do with the visit from the doctor?" Keya looked at Loki, and nodded. "Why did you make her swear not to tell anyone?"

"For the same reason Frigga swore. This is all too much for me, I need alone time to think about what to do."

"I'll go with you."

"I said alone, Loki."

"I'll be quiet. I promise."

"No, Loki! Just leave me alone!" she ran down the entrance stairs and shifted to a white Clydesdale and galloped off.

Keya knew what she had to do. She couldn't tell Loki that she was pregnant with his child. No one could know. It was too much of an issue. The fact that it would be a bastard child alone was bad enough, but also the issue with Fandral and Thor also were courting her was too much. She left a letter for Bjaldgor and Aydin, giving them leadership of the stables. She trusted them, but she did not mention the child.

Keya galloped over the rainbow bridge towards the Bifrost. She shifted back and walked inside the golden dome.

"You're looking for a peaceful planet that Loki wouldn't go looking for you. Midgard has just finished it's first world war, and some lands are going through a prosperous time. I suggest it."

"Heimdal, you cannot tell anyone."

"I understand. I shall not speak of it to anyone, even to those who know."

"Thank you. And yes, Midgard does sound nice. I think I'll pay it a visit. A long visit." Heimdal activated the Bifrost.

"I will keep my eye on you, Loki will demand it, as will Thor. Be safe, Lady Keya." A whinny came from outside and Keya saw Vilkaf. She smiled and motioned for him to come.

'Where are you going? Can I come?'

"Of course. I'll take you with me. I'll need someone to care for me." He nickered and the two traveled through the Bifrost and landed in a barren area. She looked around and caught a piece of paper flying by. The date read: August 1st, 1918. She dropped the paper and mounted Vilkaf.

"Well, boy, let's go find a place to call home."
