A few weeks had passed, and Loki's visits had begun to spread more and more. Keya began to miss the ebony haired prince. So did his colt, Sleipnir. She then decided to do something about it. She rode Vilkaf to the golden palace and walked in.
"Can I help you, Lady Keya?" Thor asked. She turned to the larger prince who was accompanied by Hogan and Volstagg.
"Yes, I am looking for Queen Frigga. I wish to visit her." Keya said with a kind smile.
"Of course, I'll take you to her." He turned to his friends. "I will meet you there soon." Thor then walked up to Keya and offered his arm, but she kindly declined. "Saving that for Fandral, are we?" Keya smiled and covered her face to hide the blush that wasn't really there. She had lost any feeling for the warrior and could think of nothing but Loki.
"Don't tease me, Prince Thor."
"He is a little upset that you are too busy to spend more time with him. But he understands."
"Send him my apologies. There are many horses to care for and a never ending list of chores for me and my stable-hands to do."
"I understand, Lady Keya." They approached a pair of double doors that she remembered was the library. "She is in there."
"Thank you, Prince Thor."
"Please," He grabbed her hand and laid a kiss upon her knuckles. "Call me Thor." She curtseyed as he turned and left. When she reached for the handle to enter, the doors swung open and she met a familiar pair of emerald eyes.
"Keya. What a surprise."
"Loki-I mean-Prince Loki." She curtseyed. He bowed.
"What may I owe the pleasure?"
"I came to visit Queen Frigga."
"She's lounging, and in quite the talkative mood, so you came just in time."
"Come in, dear." Frigga called from inside. Loki moved out of the way for her to walk in. As she passed the young Prince, she felt his gaze follow her until she sat down across from Frigga. "Aren't you leaving, my son?" Loki nodded and closed the doors behind him. "Well, that was different."
"Pardon, your majesty?" Keya asked as Frigga turned the page in her book.
"You seem to have both my sons falling in love with you." She closed her book and put it on the table.
"I had no intentions for-"
"I suggest Loki." Keya tilted her head when Frigga interrupted her.
"Pardon?"
"Loki suits you, and you suit him."
"But what about Fandral? He still is in love with me, when I have no feeling for him?"
"If you do not have feeling for Sir Fandral, then who do you have feelings for?" Keya furrowed her brows and looked at her hands that were folded neatly in her lap.
"I..." Keya started.
"Maybe this will help," she grabbed Keya's hand and opened it, palm up. She traced the outsides of Keya's fingers and motioned to the parts in between, "If his hands fit yours, then you are made to be together. Would my older son Thor's hands fit?" Keya shook her head. Thor had thicker fingers; the spaces between her fingers were too small.
"What about Fandrals'?" His fingers were too short, so Keya shook her head.
"How about my younger son, Loki?" He had long, thin fingers that would fit in between hers. "Like I said, you suit each other well."
