"So we're really going to tell other people about it."
Keith was at it again. Napabuntong hininga na lamang si Lex dahil ayaw na sana niyang pag-usapan ang bagay na iyon. Of course they need to tell people about the situation. Ilang buwan na lang ba ay lalaki na ang tiyan ni Keith at sigurado siyang magsisimula nang magtanong ang mga tao tungkol sa bagay na iyon. He just wanted to make it official.
"Are we at that again?" he parked the car in front of his parents house. Inirapan siya ni Keith.
"We don't need to tell people about it." kalmadong wika nito. Napatitig siya kay Keith. Tama ba ang naririnig niya? Keith thinks that they don't need to tell people about it?
"At kapag lumaki iyong tiyan mo anong sasabihin natin? Nakalunok ka ng pakwan?!" nanlalaki ang mga matang wika niya. Binalingan siya ni Keith.
"Oo. Is there a problem with that?" walang kaabog-abog na lumabas ito ng sasakyan. Naiinis na sinundan niya si Katarzyna.
"Bakit ayaw mong ipagsabi?" biglang tanong niya.
"Kasi ayoko ng hassle! If we tell your parents and my mom, they will start asking about ouyr next step! At sa sitwasyon natin, isa lang ang next step na alam nila na tama nating gawin."
"And what's that?" he couldn't comprehend.
"Fuck! Are you that slow?!" she asked in dismay. "Marriage!"
"I've asked you to marry me, you said no!" naiinis na sigaw niya. Ano ba namang klaseng tao itong kaharap niya? Ang gulo kausap!
"Yes you did! And I said no because I don't love you!" namumula na ang mukha ni Keith. Napailing siya. Bigla niyang naisip ang magiging kinabukasan ng kanilang magiging anak. If they keep on fighting like this, anong mangyayari sa baby niya? Does he really want his child to grow up in a kind of atmosphere he and Keith has?
"Whatever, Katarzyna!" naiinis na tinalikuran niya ito. He thought about their situation many times that he didn't know what to do anymore. Away sila ng away ni Keith. Walang araw na hindi sila nagbangayan. Everything around them was a subject for a quarrel. Paano kapag dumating na ang baby? Will they still fight like that.
"Sandro." agad na ngumiti ang kanyang ina nang makita siya. He found her in the gardn having coffee with Keith's mother. Agad itong tumayo upang salubungin siya. Nang makalapit ito sa kanya ay hinagkan siya nito sa pisngi.
"Hi, Ma..." nakangiting wika niya. Binalingan niya ang Mama ni Keith. He kissed her cheeks. "Tita Ina..." nakangiting bati niya dito.
"Napadalawa ka, may problema ba?" his mother asked. Nilingon niya ang loob ng bahay. Natanaw niya si Keith na naglalakad patungo sa kanila.
"Ma." tawag ni Keith sa ina nito. Agad na kumunot ang noo ng kanyang mama. Keith's mom looked at them questionably.
"Did you two come here together o nagkataon lang?" biglang tanong ng mama niya.
"We're together." napangiwi siya. That phrase sounded better in his head. Why the fuck did he said that?
Nagkatinginan ang mama niya at ang mama ni Keith. They smiled at each other.
"Nagkaroon ba ng himala at magkasama kayo ngayon?" amused na tanong ng Mama ni Keith. He sighed.These women were theie witnesses everytime they fight. Keith sad beside her mom. He stayed there standing while looking at the three women. How would he start whatever it is that he wanted to say?
"Ma, Tita Ina...: panimula niya. "We came here because we need to tell you something." nakadama siya ng kaba. Paano kung hindi maintindihan ng Mama ni Keith at ng Mama niya ang mga nagaganap? How could he tell then that it was never meant to happen but then it happened and now they're here. What would he do? What would his father tell him?
