You were over the moon of Damian teaching you Spanish for your upcoming song "My one and only" which would have certain lyrics in spanish. The song had been in progress for the past few months before deciding to switch some of the lyrics to spanish leading you to ask damian not only because he was fluent but also as a way to spend time with him due to your long hidden feelings for him over the past three years before the next few weeks of learning and recording your song, damian felt his heart flutter when he heard a recording of your song as you figured out what to do for the music video before coming up with an idea that could alter the friendship between the two of you in a way that could also ruined it as you watch him pet your dog. "Hey dames, can you be in my video?" he looks up at you with the biggest smile that never fails to turn you to mush, "Of course mi pajarito" you filmed bits and pieces of the music video throughout the next two weeks before filming the last few parts with damian which mostly was the two of you at each other's houses or the park hanging out leading to the two of you watching the clips that turned out real well and watching the music video together which you were over the moon about not knowing two big changes that was heading your way over the next few weeks, your song hit number one on the music billboard and was your first number one hit in your career so far since you broke into the music industry over the past year. You were a bit surprised when damian asked you to come over to talk but didn't mind as you felt a sense of dread form in the pit of your stomach once you saw the look on his face until he suddenly grabbed your face and smashed his lips onto yours, "I wanted to do that for awhile" you both laugh and share a series of paused kisses for the next few minutes before pulling away with a tender smile in silence while he pulled you into his arms on the couch in his living room as the true feelings between the two of you over a night in and dinner until your heart flutters at his words, "I love you" if you weren't already melting in his arms before you were now after his soft whispered words. You doze off as his body heat encases you like a blanket as he caresses your face, "I love you too" he carries you to his bedroom where he lays you in his bed and holds you in his arms as the two of you slept soundly which felt like a dream to until you wake up the next morning to damian kissing your temple before cooking and having breakfast together.
