Sebastian's POV

Our baby is crying into her mommy's arms at the moment, Daphne has to take a trip to her mothers house to help with her brother with her mothers surgery. Lucy is not taking the fact that her mommy will be gone for a week very well.

But we have been preparing all week for this. Daphne has pumped and froze milk for us to last us a week. We've been hyping up some fun plans I have for us so she gets excited, and she'll even get to sleepover at Jordan's house for one night while I hang with some friends

"Mommy no go" she whispers between cries

"It's ok baby, I'll be back I promise. Daddy will take such good care of you!" Daphne says with enthusiasm.

"I know but I miss mama" it hurts my heart to see her sad, I will also miss my wife. I Always hated it when she would have to leave but I would go sometimes.

We would all go but it would be stressful for daphnes mothers after the surgery and recovery. But we're planning on her brother coming back with her so Lucy can meet her uncle

"Come here baby, it's ok" I pick up a crying baby so Daphne can make it to the car without being tackled by Lucy. She's strong when she really wants something, last week I had to pry a marshmallow from her hand. Wasn't easy..

Daphne gives me a kiss and then one last kiss on Lucy's cheek before giving a big smile. I could tell she's about to cry but she was staying strong for our baby

"I promise I'll be back before you know it! I'll call you every night ok baby? And you text me I'll answer! Ok!" She says before giving us one last hug. She starts to open her car door before Lucy speaks

"Bye bye mommy, wuv chu" she says with tears

Daphne blows a kiss before getting into her car and backing out and she drives off. Lucy cries into my shoulder as I walk us back into the living room. I sit down and rock her in my arms

"Baby girl, it's ok. She'll be back" I say rubbing her back. After a few minutes she calms down. It's lunch time so I ask her if she's hungry. She nods still hiding in my chest. I chuckle before taking her to the kitchen

I set her in her high chair before giving her toys to play with. She seems to feel better after being distracted by toys.

"So baby I was thinking we could have a movie night with ice cream sundaes! You can choose whatever you want on top" I say still
focusing on our lunch. I could hear her smile before she even spoke

"Yesth pwease!" She yells cutely. I leans down and set a plate that was carrots and a baloney sandwhich on her tray. I kiss the side of her neck as I tickle her sides. She giggles before saying thank you

I sit down next to her with my sandwhich and an energy drink. I watch as my little girl stuffs her face with carrots and acting like a little bunny

I chuckle before I hear my phone buzz. I pick it up worrying something happened to me wife but it's just a stupid work call

"Baby, daddy will be right back ok? Make sure to eat all your food" I get up and kiss her forehead before heading out of the room to take the call

"Sebastian king" I say into the phone

"Sir, I wanted to let you know about a meeting with Mr Kingsley. He asked to move it up to Monday. I also wanted to let you know our numbers are up by 50%" my assistant says

"Alright, and that's better good." I respond. We speak about a few more things before I hang up and head back to my babygirl. Once I reach the table I look up and drop my phone on the floor
