Daphnes POV

I was working on some of the foods and snacks we were having for the party, Sebastian was upstairs in a video chat business meeting. Little Lucy was following me around by crawling everything.

Usually she gets bored of me or just following us around and she'll disappear to somewhere, most likely playing or falling asleep in a weird place.
But today she's been following me the whole time, laughing or giggle at the most normal boring things.

"What are you doing silly girl?" I asked as I put my hands on my hip. She just smiled as she stared up at me with her big bright blue eyes, her light hair brushing caress her face, her little hands holding around blue as she sat on her knees. She was the cutest and most beautiful girl I know.

"Mama make food" she said around her paci as she pointed up at me.

"That's right baby, mama make food" I replied before patting her head. She giggled as I did before crawling around the corner, I gues she finally got bored. I continued to work on this cheese tray before I heard a clicking sound.

I looked down to see that Lucy had her phone and was taking pictures of me. "Are you taking pictures of mommy?" I asked. She proudly nodded her head before taking a silly selfie of herself. I just shook my head with a smile before continuing to finish this tray.

After I was done I went to go work on some laundry, of course my baby was crawling after me. After I was done with that I went to clean up Lucy's nursery which she also followed me to.
I then fixed up the living room and went back to the kitchen for a drink. I sighed as I entered into a slightly messy kitchen.

I couldn't clean it yet because I wasn't done making food, I should've hired cleaners but I figured I could just do it this time.

I looked down at Lucy who was by my side once again. I smiled at her before leaning down to pick her up, she helped me by standing then jumping up on my hip. Even though she's way smaller than us it can still be hard to carry her. Just for me at least. Sebastian has no trouble because he's even taller and stronger than I am.

"Does baby want a drink?" I asked. She nodded her head before laying it down on my shoulder.

"Hello ladies!"

"AH"  Lucy and I both screamed at the same time. I quickly turned around to see Sebastian standing there laughing, Lucy bursting into tears.

"Aw Sebastian! You scared her" I said before trying to calm her down. He gave a pouty lip before walking over to take her from my arms.

"Daddy's sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. Are you ok baby?" He asked her as he sat down at one of the island chairs.

"Nu, dada meanie" she said as she rubbed her eyes, he stopped her before wiping the tears off her face saying "don't rub your eyes, and I'm sorry baby girl. I didn't mean to but it was so cute to see you cling tightly to mommy" he teased. She just whined and hid her face in his neck.

Once I got her some juice in a bottle, I handed it to him before rolling my eyes and walking away. "Just because I scared you doesn't mean you need to have an attitude with me" he said half jokingly, half sternly.

"I only have an attitude because you scared the baby who was clearly happy before you made her cry" I said jokingly but in a serious note as well.

"I didn't mean to scare her." He says in a more stern tone. I turn around to see him focusing on helping Lucy drink out of her bottle. He then looks at me with a smirk before looking back down at her

"Don't be bossy with me now" I said

"I'm sure you wouldn't want to get spanked in front of the baby correct?" He asked which made me froze. I know he'll do it and I know she'll use that against me. Lucy just giggles as she touches Sebastian's face, still drinking from her bottle. He had her cradled into his arm.
