I had to use the bathroom really quick before the fireworks. I checked myself in the mirror to see if I still looked ok after all the playing.

Mommy curled my hair and put it back with a bow, I had my white converse on with a white summer dress, I also had a silver necklace that they had bought me a while ago.

I walked out the bathroom wiping off my dress, thankfully my makeup is still on and all my earrings stayed on during all the running.

"Darling! Come on!" A voice called out causing me to turn my head. Mommy reaching her hand out with a smile "daddy and uncle Felix are going to go set off the fireworks! Come on" she said again.

I jumped up and grabbed her hand. She lead me back outside where everyone was sitting. All the littles were sitting on a blanket in the grass as all the caregivers either stood or sat on a chair behind us.

Mommy sat me down and told me we all have to stay seated during the fireworks. I nodded my head and she smiled before standing up to stand with the caregivers.

From really far away we saw daddy and uncle Felix standing by some fireworks. For a second we saw them stand still and wave, I smiled before waving both my hands in the air. Then all of us littles started waving.

"Ok he just texted they're going to set them off now, are yall ready!" Mommy asked

"Yes!" We all said excitedly

A few seconds after a loud bang arose. I smiled at the sparkles spreading across the sky. There was red, blue, green, and even purple! They were so pretty.

"Woah! That was a big one!" Jordy yelled

"Wow it went off like three times!"

"Look it's pink!"

Mommy bent down in front of us to take pictures as we sat there. I did a peace sign and she laughed before  standing up to go sit back behind again.

The fireworks continued to spread throughout the sky, I smiled at myself. The last time I saw fireworks like this was a few weeks after my mom died. I was terrified, the loud sounds and bright lights just scared me.
