Nagi woke up with a groan, feeling like he'd been hit by a truck. His shoulders protested from sleeping awkwardly on the couch, and he muttered a string of curses under his breath as he pushed himself upright. "Damn," he grumbled, rubbing the sore spots and trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. His phone lay innocently on the coffee table, and he snatched it up, stretching his arms above his head and wincing as he felt the stiffness in his muscles.

Deciding a hot shower was in order, Nagi trudged to the bathroom and cranked the water temperature up as high as it would go. The hot spray pounded against his skin, easing the tension in his muscles and chasing away the last vestiges of sleep. He took his time under the water, letting it soothe his aching body, before finally emerging feeling slightly more human, water droplets clinging to his fit frame, highlighting the muscles that rippled beneath his pale skin. His shoulders were broad, his arms toned, and his legs sturdy from years of training. Wrapping a towel around his waist, he padded back to his room, feeling a bit more awake and alive.

As he dried himself off and went through his morning routine, Nagi couldn't help but feel a sense of dread creeping in. With a heavy workload from his online classes, courtesy of an international exchange program, he knew he had a long day ahead of him. But first, he needed sustenance.

"I guess it's time for a snack run," Nagi muttered to himself, grabbing his backpack, keys, and wallet before heading out the door.

Navigating the aisles of the grocery store was like navigating a maze, and Nagi couldn't help but grumble to himself as he searched for his favourite tea. "Seriously, they should pay us for this," he muttered under his breath, scanning the shelves with a furrowed brow. Lost in his own world, he rounded a corner and collided with someone.

"Oops, sorry about that," the guy with the wild yellow hair apologized that had a lightning strike in it, flashing a sheepish grin. Nagi waved it off with a chuckle. "No worries, man. I should probably watch where I'm going," he replied, offering a friendly smile.

The guy glanced at Nagi's phone screen, where the picture of his favourite tea was displayed. "Oh! I just passed that aisle," he said, nodding towards the direction Nagi had come from. "Let me show you where it is."

Nagi's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Really? That'd be awesome, thanks," he said gratefully, falling into step beside the helpful stranger.

As they walked, the guy introduced himself. "I'm Denki Kaminari, by the way," he said, extending a hand.

Nagi shook it with a grin. "Nagi Bushida. Nice to meet you, kaminari," he replied.

They shared a moment of comfortable silence before Kaminari suddenly spoke up again. "Hey, wait a minute. I know you!" he exclaimed, pointing a finger at Nagi with a grin.

Nagi blinked in surprise. "You do?" he asked, caught off guard.

"Yeah, you're the dude who dozed off during that lecture at UA. Mic went off on you, man. Guess you're a heavy sleeper," Kaminari chuckled, recalling the memory.

Nagi felt his cheeks heat up in embarrassment. "Ugh, seriously?" he muttered, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement. Bakugou hadn't mentioned that little incident. "Well, I guess that's me," he chuckled, shaking his head at the memory.

As they finally reached the tea aisle, Nagi's face lit up with a grin as he grabbed his favourite blend, feeling grateful for the unexpected encounter and the help from his new acquaintance. "Thanks for the assist, Denki. I owe you one," he said, shooting Denki a grateful smile before heading to the checkout counter. Despite the weight of the day ahead, he felt a bit lighter, buoyed by the brief but pleasant interaction.

"Hey, wait up! Let me get your number. We might end up in the same class," Denki called out as Nagi was about to leave. Nagi paused and turned to see Denki, slightly out of breath, approaching him. "Yeah, sure," Nagi agreed, handing Denki his phone. They exchanged numbers, and Nagi added Denki's contact information.

"Maybe we can train together sometime," Denki suggested with a smile. Nagi's smile widened at the idea. "Yeah, sure! Got no one else to train with," he replied, his long black hair falling around his face as he spoke. The prospect of having a training partner brought a sense of excitement, and Nagi looked forward to the possibility of honing his skills alongside Denki.

as the weeks flew by, Nagi and Kaminari's friendship blossomed, weaving tighter with each shared joke and late-night text exchange. They had become each other's confidants, sharing their dreams, fears, and even their most embarrassing moments.

One lazy afternoon found them sprawled across Nagi's couch, a mountain of popcorn between them as they indulged in their favourite pastime of watching movies. Kaminari, ever the chatterbox, casually tossed out a question between mouthfuls of popcorn. "So, what's your type of woman?" he asked with a mischievous grin, leaning back as if he already knew the answer.

Nagi's heart skipped a beat, a flicker of uncertainty crossing his face before he replied. "Ummm..." he hesitated, feeling a knot of unease forming in his stomach.

Sensing Nagi's discomfort, Kaminari immediately shifted gears, his tone softening with understanding. "Hey, it's cool, you don't have to answer that," he reassured, shooting Nagi a reassuring smile.

But before Kaminari could say anything else, Nagi blurted out, "I don't like girls." It was a confession he had only shared with his dad and his closest online friend, and he braced himself for Kaminari's reaction.

There was a moment of silence, and then Kaminari responded with a warm smile, his eyes reflecting genuine acceptance. "That's totally fine, man. You don't have to like girls. Everyone's different," he said, his voice filled with genuine understanding and support.

Feeling a weight lift off his shoulders, Nagi let out a sigh of relief. "Are you okay with it?" he asked tentatively, searching Kaminari's face for any sign of judgment.

Kaminari's smile widened, his expression reassuring. "Of course, Nagi. I'm completely okay with it," he affirmed, his tone leaving no room for doubt. "Some of my friends like guys too. I met them at the exam, I should introduce you then we can all be buddies." he added, his words a testament to his unwavering acceptance.

Grateful for Kaminari's understanding, Nagi couldn't help but return the smile. "Let's pick a new movie to watch," he suggested, eager to lighten the mood and move past the moment of vulnerability.

Kaminari's eyes lit up with excitement, and he jumped up from the couch, accidentally sending popcorn flying in every direction. "Yes! Great idea!" he exclaimed, already heading for the DVD collection. Nagi couldn't help but laugh at his friend's enthusiasm, feeling a deep sense of gratitude for the bond they shared.
