"Who's this whisper telling me that I'm never gonna get away?"

***

Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors.

"I fear I'm getting used to being held by you."

Jack's POV

"Good morning." people greeted me as they walked pass me. I just gave them a small smile.

I'm Jack Matthew Frost. I work as a photographer in a studio and I'm 21 years old. I live in a small apartment here in London, alone.

My parents and my little sister are in Burgess. Our family may be poor, but I graduated. And now, I have to help my parents so that Emma could study.

The money I earn is enough for Emma's education. And I always make sure, that I save money for myself.

"Jack." a deep voice said. I looked at the man in front of me and gave him a sly smirk.

"Yes, boss?" I asked.

"There's a customer and she has been here since 8:30." Boss North told me . I looked at my wrist watch and it read 9:00.

"She's been waiting here for thirty minutes. She should have just left and went to a different studio." I said as I got the camera from his hand.

I don't have my own camera to be homest. And I'm saving money to have my own.

"Well, she said she wasn't that in a hurry." Boss North said.

"Okay, then." I said and went to the room where I could take pictures. As I entered the room, I saw a girl with platinum blonde hair and she was sitting down on the couch alone.

She had pale skin and she was wearing sunglasses and blue dress.

"Good morning, ma'am. I'm sorry if I made you wait for thirty minutes." I said and she chuckled.

"It's fine." she said and I turned in the camera.

"So, what exactly do you need?" I asked politely.

"I need 4 1x1 pictures actually." she said and I nodded.

"Just sit down on the stool, look at the camera and smile." I said and she stood up and went close to the stool and sat down. She removed her sunglasses and I can now see her face clearer than earlier.

She had large blue eyes, pointy nose and rosy lips. I put the camera close to my face and peeked my eye into the camera.

She smiled a big and sweet smile and I clicked on the button making a light flash. I loiked at the picture of her on the camera.

"Is this okay for you now?" I asked as I showed her the pic.

"Yeah, that's fine." she said and put on again her sunglasses. I got a piece of paper out and a ballpen.

"Name?"

"Elsa Therese Arens..." she said and I wrote it on the paper.

"Just wait for a few more minutes." I said as I sent the pic to my best friend, Hiccup, who is in the other room and he'll be the one to print it.

"Follow me, please." I told jer and she did. I guided her to the room where Hiccup is.

"Here is it, bro." he said and gave me the pic. I gave the pic to the customer and she looked at it.

"Looks good. Thanks. Now, where should I pay?" she said and asked.

"To the cashier outside, please." I said and she smiled.

"Thanks..... Jack." she said and I wondered how she knew my name. She left and I faced Hiccup.

"How did she know my name?" I whispered.

"You have a name tag, idiot." Hiccup said while he pressed something on his computer. I looked at my shirt and saw my name tag.

Jack Matthew Frost it says.

"Oh yeah." I chuckled a bit.

"Jack! There's some more customers!"
