Jack's POV
I was walking back to my house. The air was cold and I had goosebumps. I was feeling a presence.. a presence behind me. Someone was following me.
I just wasn't sure who it was. And why would he follow me.
I tried my best to not look back. It was tempting. I was afraid of what I'll see. And what would happen to me.
Suddenly, a van stopped at my left and I became more nervous. I looked at the van and two men came out. I couldn't see their faces since they were wearing masks. Black masks.
They hit me in the head and I lost conscious.
Elsa's POV
"I'm home!" I yelled as I opened the door. Nobody replied. The place was really silent. I was used to all this. Mom and dad would be working their asses off and Anna would be shopping or partying.
I would always be the one home. I just want to lay down on my bed after a warm shower and stare at nothing. I would admire the silence around me.
I removed my heels andet it stay at the doorway. Sometimes I just don't care. I went to the kitchen and opened the fridge. There were still a lot of food but I wasn't in the mood. I just grabbed a bottle of Mountain Dew and a glass.
I then went to our drawer and saw nothing. Anna probably ate all of them. I just rolled my eyes and closed it.
I went upstairs to my bedroom. I turned on my laptop, charged my cellphone and opened the television. This is what I do when I feel lazy.
My Macbook was still loading so I decided to take a really quick shower. I undressed myself and I was about to step in the shower when I heard my phone ring. I cursed a bit and wore my robe.
I picked up my phone and it was actually Jack who was calling me. I answered the call.
"Jack, what the hell!?" I yelled as soon as I pressed it on my ear.
("Hello, Elsa? Hi, umm, I'm sorry if I bothered you.. This is Jack's sister, Emma.") I heard a sweet and soft voice say. I closed my eyes real tight and I could feel my cheeks heat up.
"Oh my God.. I'm so sorry... I didn't know.." I said.
("It's alright... I guess you're wondering why I called you, right? Well, Ibsaw that you and Jack have been texting so I thought you were great friends.. So you were the one I called.") she told me and I hummed.
I made a disgust face and sticked my tongue out.
"Mhmm, so why'd you call me?" I asked.
("Jack's missing. The police found his phone and gave it to me...") she said.
"What!? He's missing?" I asked to clarify.
("Yes, he is.. He was last seen outside the building. The police are still looking for clues.") she told me.. Her voice cracked a bit and it was obvious that she was about to cry..
"I'm so sorry about that. I'm sure that they will find him. Don't worry. He will be back." I comforted her.
("Thank you... I just wabted to let you know so I called. I'll call you again if they found clues or if they have new news.") she told me.
"Please do.. Thanks for letting me know." I said.
("Okay, bye.") she said and hung up. I sighed and went back to my bathroom.
I just let the water run down on my hair to my body. I just looked at the floor. The fact that Jack was kidnapped gave me chills. I want to help them find him. But what can I do?
I mean, I'm just a girl. The kidnappers could easily carry me or rape me or kill me, gah.
All I have is money.
Money... Wait a minute.
I smirked a bit and quickly got out of my shower. I dried myself with a towel and dressed up.
I saw that my laptop was ready. I opened safari and searched something.
Jack's POV
I was a bit dizzy. I couldn't see anything. Of course.. It was because I had a blindfold and it was covering my eyes.
I couldn't move. Something was stopping and holding me. I was sweaty.
I hear laughters and footsteps. The footsteps were coming closer and I heard something being opened. I just couldn't tel what it is.
"Boss. Here he is.." one said. I tried to break free. I was strugglig and I tried to shake through the thing that was holding me. I hen realized it was a seatbelt. A really tight seatbelt.
Someone punched me on my stomach and I groaned. Someone stopped him.
"Don't punch him. He's ready to go. No one might get pleased." someone said.
"Who are you!? Let me go!" I screamed. He shushed me.
"You might want to save that energy. For you will need them later." he said and laughed. I didn't like what he said. I didn't know what he meant.
I didn't like this whole idea.
They removed the seatbelt. I tried my best to get aeay from them even though I couldn't see anything. But they were fast and strong.
They handcufffed my hands. I screamed for help and they just laughed at me.
"That's pathetic." I heard a maniac say.
"Please.. Just let me go. I have a sister. She still needs me. Please don't kill me." I said.
"Don't worry, boy. We won't kill you." someone said.
"Then what do you want from me?" I asked.
"It's a surprise."
