Yaksha's POV
"Please wait outside and don't come inside until I need you to. I need to do this alone first." I said to the both of them.
"I d-" Sultan protested but I shook my head in negative.
"No please."
"I need you both to say something. What is going on!" Baba-sa interrupted.
"You will know.Soon." I nodded at my husband once before turning away to enter her chamber. The attendees outside announced my arrival buy I didn't wait for her response.
"Yaksha! You are awake! Why didn't you inform me and why did you come here! You should've sent a message, I would have come to you instead." She launched herself to hug me but I stepped back.
"You can drop the act now. It's just us."
I thought she would deny or keep her facade but to my surprise she just scoffed looking down before dismissing all the girls around her.
"So you finally regained your memory.I was only counting days before you did." She looked up with a smile.
But not the warm smile I was familiar with. The smile looked horrible almost horrifying.
But how came she is so nonchalant about all this. Does Yaksha regaining her memory doesn't bother her even a bit!
"But what would you even do beta? You are still the same little girl who will obey whatever I say. Because you are just an obedient little princess of your father." She lifted my chin with her fingers.
She is wrong. So wrong. Because I am far from the obedient girl she has been taking advantage off.
"What if I am not that obedient girl anymore?"
"You think you can fight me?Go ahead.Oh and be prepare to lose everything you have right now then. The kings from north are already agitated on your father, they were ready to attack the kingdom you know? I stopped them well because...just like that." She giggled.
"Rajeshwari will be married to a Maharaja and I will leave along with her. I have been preparing myself for all sorts of situations my dear. Don't let me stop you now." She dismissed her hand in the air.
"You are sick. And twisted! You think Rajeshwari will consider you as her mother when she comes to know all about your wicked ways?"
"Rajeshwari doesn't have any choice now does she? And why are suddenly raising your voice so much my dear? Do you think you have the upper hand now just because you married some so called Sultan?"
"Don't." I gritted my teeth."Don't you dare drag him into this."
"Dare?" She chuckled."The one who is daring is you Yaksha! Half my life I have done everything I could to show you where you belong. And that's nowhere.Even your mother left you alone as soon as you came into the world. You surely got some guts standing here talking to me like that. I think you haven't completely recovered your memory because if you did you wouldn't do all these."
I closed my eyes for a spare second. This is what she had to go through? All her life? And there was no one she could even talk to.
