FIGURE IT OUT - ROYAL BLOOD
"Can we go and see him?" Luke asked.
Michael sighed, "We can't go today because it's the weekend and I don't know where he lives."
Luke's face fell and his large wings drooped a little.
Michael felt bad for letting Luke down but had a other idea.
"How about we watch a movie?" Michael asked.
Luke looked up and nodded slightly.
"Have you ever seen Mean Girls?"
▼
"My god Michael that was the best thing i've ever seen."
Michael felt accomplished for getting another male to like his favorite movie.
"Told you it was good." He said with a small smirk plastered on his face. He looked over to Luke to see the blonde boy stuffing the last marshmallow into his mouth.
He stared at him, absolutely mesmerized by his features.
The way his blonde hair was always sticking upwards, or how his eyes sparkled every time he laughed.
Michael felt insecure whenever he looked at Luke. Luke had a flat stomach unlike Michael. Luke had nice legs and it made Michael sad when looking at his.
Luke noticed that Michael was feeling insecure and remembered his mothers words.
One day you'll have to leave to go and make someone happy.
He figured that Michael was that someone.
Luke stood up from his spot in the couch, leaving an indent of where he was sitting behind.
Michael's gaze followed Luke as the younger boy ran up the stairs and into Michael's room.
Michael sighed, thinking that the boy didn't want to be around him for any longer.
He leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes, thinking back to the times where everything in his life was perfect.
Michael was about to fall asleep as he heard the clumsy boy stumble down the stairs.
He stood up from the murky grey couch and walked towards were Luke was sitting.
Michael stuck his hand out offering to help Luke up.
"What were you doing?" Michael questioned.
Luke handed him his black hoodie.
"Come." Luke said, grabbing Michael's small hands and pulling him out the front door.
"Wait! Won't other people see your wings?" Michael pointed out.
Luke pulled Michael into a hug and gave him a small smirk.
"Hold on Mikey." And with that, they were sent soaring into the air.
Michael's hands instantly gripped onto the back of Luke's jumper. He let out a small scream as the wind brushed past his cheeks, leaving them a soft pink colour.
Luke chuckled and tightened his arms around Michael as he continued to fly upwards.
Luke stopped above the clouds, flapping his wings occasionally to stay in place.
Michael pulled his face from Luke's chest and stared at the view in front of them.
The sun was just starting to set, painting various strokes of orange in the sky.
Michael's eyes were wide with curiosity as he took in the new sight.
The blue sky started to fade to an orange, the colours bouncing off on to the plush clouds.(A/N: much personification very wow.)
Luke wasn't staring at the colourful sky. Instead, his eyes were trained down onto the colourful boy who was clinging onto him.
Luke was fascinated by the boys green eyes, his dyed black hair, and just his overall personality in general. Luke admired him in a way, even if he had only met the boy a few hours ago.
Michael's eyes crinkled as he let out a small laugh. "This is amazing Luke. Thank you."
Luke hummed in repsonse, slowly bringing them back down to Michael's house.
He opened the front door, carrying a tired Michael into the house. He gently kicked the door shut and walked up to Michael's room, placing the boy down on the small bed.
He pulled the black covers over the sleeping boy and tucked Daniel into his arms.
He smiled as the boys grip around the toy got tighter. He bent down, placing a small kiss to his forehead.
"Goodnight Michael, sweetdreams."
