[A/N: current update from my life; my six year old brother lost his first tooth and it ended up in his ear.  So much talent omg.]

Michael woke up slow.

He rubbed his eyes, scratched his head and did a little stretch.

Luke watched it all unfold from the side of his bed.

"How are you feeling?" The blonde boy asked.

Michael shrugged. "Like I could go back to sleep."

"Well you passed the test, and well, you have something like an immigration pass to come to Nirvana." Luke replied as he stroked Michael's hair, pushing a few strands back into place.

"Oh." Michael said as he sat up, causing Luke's hand to fall from his hair. "So all that shit wasn't a dream?"

Luke nodded, turning his face to show the boy the nail marks that were given from the dark creature.

"Luke, what the hell happened after I passed out?" Michael asked as he reached out, his fingers softly touching the fresh marks.

Luke winced slightly, causing Michael to pull his hand back.

"The thing disappeared and a letter showed up saying that you could come to Nirvana."

Luke grabbed Michael's hand, placing it in his larger ones.

Both hands merged with the other and both boys thought that it was perfect.

"And where am I now?"

Luke smiled for the first time in their conversation. "You're in the bedroom I grew up in."

Michael's eyes widened. "We made it?!"

Luke nodded eagerly. The black haired boy grabbed Luke's shirt, pulling him in as he placed a soft kiss upon his lips. The blonde boy smiled and kissed back. They had made it back safely and both of the were barely harmed.

"What about Melanie?" Michael asked as he pulled away from the kiss.

"Who?"

"The small girl with the bomb ass hair." Michael said as he folded his arms.

"I contacted her angel the other day, Josh, and she said that she's been trying to get to her for so long."

Michael frowned. "I don't think she's trying hard enough."

"It's wasn't meant to be Michael. Melanie didn't pass the test." Luke said, trying to tell the boy without hurting him in any way.

Melanie was the only person Michael had while Luke was gone.

"What's going to happen to her?" Michael asked as he bit down on his bottom lip. He couldn't start crying. Not here.

"She's just going to keep on living until her time comes."

Michael broke down, crying into his lover's shoulder. Luke pulled him into a hug, telling him that it was going to be fine and not to worry. Michael didn't know if it was going to be fine. Melanie was going to be eleven forever and there was no way she could get a job.

Michael was stressing over it too much but Luke managed to calm him down. Luke always knew how to.

"She's going to be fine, Mikey." Luke said as he continued to rub Michael's back. "She's gonna be fine."

Michael looked up to Luke with tear stained cheeks, pressing a small kiss to his lips.

"I love you Luke." He said as he curled into the taller boys chest.

Luke placed a kiss on top of his head. "I love you too Michael."

The End.
