STALKERS DON'T GET TO ESCAPE

After receiving suggestions from Leona, you and the squads decided to sneak into Azul's VIP room to look into his golden contracts. Yet, before you all could get out of it, Azul and the Leech twins came in and discovered you.

"Tsk... there is no way to escape..." Ace hissed nervously. Suddenly, he noticed several contracts placed on the desk. The idea of threatening Azul of stealing and destroying his contract, so that you all could grab the chance to escape.

Having that thought in his head, he reached his hand to a contract slowly, but the moment he touched it, a wave of electricity transmitted from the contract hit him, causing the orange head to jump off the ground. The electricity even jolted Grim, who was standing on Ace's shoulder. "MEOWWWWWW!!!" He screamed. You were startled by the sudden situation. You were told that the contracts were indestructible, but you had no idea that they could attack others with electricity.

"Ahahahahaha!! What a bunch of schmucks!" Floyd mocked. Jade next to him snickered deviously, "Floyd, don't laugh at the poor things. That's too mean." But there was not even a sense of mercy in his voice or his expression.

"Trying to steal someone else's valuables merits a proper punishment, wouldn't you say?" Azul adjusted his glasses and uttered coldly before turning to the twins, "Floyd."

Hearing the order, Floyd then raised his magic pen and aimed it at the squads. "Too bad... I was thinking of giving you guys a squeeze... but whatever!" He laughed before activating the attack spell.

You thought you were doomed for sure, but luckily, right before the attack hit you, Deuce cast a protection spell to form a magical barrier in front of you and the others just in time, causing the attack from Floyd to rebound and hit right on the vault on the wall.

"Floyd! Watch where you're directing that spell! It hit right at the vault! You fool!" Azul unexpectedly yelled with nervousness and anger in his voice, but what he got in return was Floyd stretching the back of his head with a carefree smile, "Whoops, sorry!"

Azul immediately ran towards the golden vault behind his desk and checked on it carefully. "No... The door is damaged! The dial and hinges aren't shot, are they?" He seemed totally freaked out, contrary to his normal composure. He then turned to the back where the twins were with his brows frowning. "How many times have I told you not to cast spells so carelessly?! What will it take to get that through your head?!" He scolded furiously.

"I said I was sorry, ok? Why are you always angry about such minor stuff?" Floyd pouted and retorted.

"You're the one doing wrongly here, you-"

"You two, settle down. Otherwise... they'll get away." Azul was carried away by Floyd without himself noticing and was about to fume at him, but Jade stopped him with a reminder, pointing at you and the boys who were grabbing the chance to run out of the room during their argument.

"Huh?" Azul and Floyd gasped at almost the same time before Grim turned to the back for the one last time and gave them a teasing "Goodbye to your tail!"

The merchant gritted his teeth in frustration at the mockery, "Jade, Floyd, chase after them!"

However, Floyd who was just shouted at crossed his arms with a tiny pout still on his face, "Getting yelled at kinda harshed my vibe." He then turned to his brother, "Neh Jade, let's go to the lounge and have a drink."

Jade nodded with a smile to show his affirmation, "Ehh, Floyd, let's go." He said before leaving the VIP room with his twins, leaving Azul behind with his eyes widened due to the shock and frustration.

On the other side, you and the squad successfully escaped from Octavinelle through the teleportation mirror and finally had a chance to catch your breath when you arrived at the Hall of Mirrors.
