_______________
After that day's makeout session with Jungkook, both he and y/n found themselves swamped with work for days on end. Despite their hectic schedules, they couldn't shake the lingering memory of their passionate encounter.
Y/n had hoped to successfully avoid Jungkook at the office, but it seemed impossible. Every corner she turned, he was there, a constant presence that she couldn't escape.
She tried her best to dodge any encounters with Jungkook outside of work, but fate had other plans. It was Ella's 24th birthday, and y/n couldn't miss it for the world. As Ella complimented her black dress in the VIP section of the club, y/n smiled gratefully. Ella didn't have many friends, and y/n was determined to be there for her no matter what. "You look great in that black dress, y/n," Ella grinned at her. Ella groaned at the gift y/n brought for her. "It's probably —" she muttered, but her eyes widened as she looked at the gift. It was a pendant with her name intricately inscribed on it.
As Ella's fingers traced the delicate curves of the pendant, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears, she could feel the weight of the moment pressing down on her chest.
"This is beautiful," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion.
Y/n smiled, her own eyes moist with sentiment. "I wanted to get you something special for your birthday, something that would always remind you of how special you are to me." Ella pulled y/n into a tight hug, overcome with gratitude. "Thank you," she murmured, her voice muffled against y/n's shoulder. "I don't know what I would do without you."
Their embrace was interrupted by Jungkook's voice. "Hey, Ella happy birthday to our oldy," he greeted them, his voice laced with a hint of mischief. He gestured behind him, revealing a tall, dark-haired man standing nearby. "This is my friend, Taehyung. Ella, you remember him from the last time we hung out, right?"
Ella's cheeks flushed as she waved awkwardly. "Uh, hi," she stammered. y/n felt a pang of jealousy in her chest. Jungkook had never introduced her to any of his friends before. As Ella and Taehyung began to chat, Jungkook leaned in close to y/n, his breath hot against her ear.
"I've been meaning to tell you," he whispered, "you look really good in that dress." y/n glanced over at Jungkook, trying to read his expression. He was smiling, but there was something else there too. Something unfamiliar. Maybe it was just the way the light hit his eyes, but she could have sworn she saw a flash of envy.
She glanced down at her dress, a deep dark velvet that hugged her curves and flowed down to her ankles. It was one of her favorites, and she'd been hoping that he'd notice. But the way he was looking at her now...it made her feel uncomfortable. "Thanks," she managed to reply, her voice barely audible over the music. "It's a pretty dress." Jungkook said to her "Better thrown on the floor" Her breath hitched.
"it will be better if you don't tell about the thing to Ella," Jungkook said dipping his head near y/n, "I wasn't going to tell Ella." She couldn't prevent the whine from coming from her voice.
"Good. You need to find a guy around your own age. Have some fun tonight. Get over the asshole from that journal."
"But," she tried to interrupt him.
"But nothing y/n ." He looked at her sternly. "I am a professional businessman running a multi billion dollar corporation. I do not have time for little girl games or dalliances. Do you understand me?"
Her heart sank at his words. She knew he was stating truth but it still stung. She glanced away, feeling suddenly very alone in the room. The music seemed to fade into the background as she tried to process everything he'd just said.
Without another word, Jungkook excused himself, disappearing into the crowd. y/n stood there, watching him go, feeling a mixture of confusion, hurt, and anger bubbling up inside her. She couldn't believe that he would tell her to find someone else, as if she were just some silly schoolgirl. He had no idea how much she'd grown to lover for him, how much she'd admired him from afar.
She took a deep breath, trying to steady her nerves, and made her way over to the bar. Maybe a drink would help take the edge off. As she sipped her drink, a guy sitting nearby smiled at her. Y/n looked at him, and he gave her a flattering comment. Just then, as if by some twisted fate, she glanced across the room and saw Jungkook watching her, his expression unreadable. Her heart skipped a beat, and she felt a pang of guilt wash over her.
She tried to ignore him, focusing instead on the music and the people around her, but she couldn't shake the feeling that he was still somehow there, somewhere in the room. It was as if his presence had become a part of the very air she breathed.
Deciding to leave the party early, she told herself that she just needed some time alone to process everything that had happened. She dropped a message to Ella, who was busy with Taehyung, a friend of Jungkook's, letting her know she was heading home but she was stopped by the guy from the bar, "it's disrespectful for not amswwrback when some ask you something." He grinned at her and she felt his hands running up and down her body.
She felt slightly uncomfortable at his touch but she didn't pull away because she saw jungkook standing at the bar talking to a girl. She didn't want him to think she was some sort of loser. "So do you come here often Missy?" the guy had somehow positioned them in a corner and she felt herself pushed up next to a wall. She could feel him hard behind her and he was grinding himself into her ass.
She then felt his hands running up and down her breasts and she started to feel uncomfortable. "Uhm, not really." Her voice was low and she tried to stop his hands from touching her breasts. All of a sudden she didn't feel so happy to be wearing such a tight and revealing dress.
"That's a pity." his hands easily broke away from hers and now he had them on her breasts and was squeezing her nipples through her dress. "I'd like to see you every Friday night for a quick bang."
"Excuse me?" She squeaked out, unsure if she had heard him right. She was starting to feel queasy from all the alcohol. "I said, I'd love to have the opportunity to fuck you on a weekly basis." He whispered in her ear and laughed. "I love a woman with big breasts. And yours feel natural as well."
"g-get o-o-off mee!" she flinched at her own voice. It was the most awkward moment of her life. She was standing there, frozen in fear, as the man continued to grope her. Her heart was racing, her palms sweaty, and her mind was in a state of shock. How had she gotten herself into this situation? Just moments ago, she had been feeling confident and attractive in her tight, revealing dress. Now, she felt exposed and vulnerable. As if sensing her distress, the man leaned in closer, his hot breath tickling her ear. "Come on, baby," he whispered, his voice laced with liquor and lust. "Let's have some fun." He reached for her hips, trying to pull her closer.
Y/n felt a sharp pain in her side as she tried to wriggle free from his grasp. "Ouch!" she cried out, wincing in pain. "Don't touch me like that!"
The man let go of her immediately, a look of surprise and annoyance crossing his face. "What's the matter?" he snarled. "You're not that good, are you?" He stepped closer, his lips curling into a sneer. "I could have you screaming in no time."
