Vaggies pov
I bent over as I packed what little items I had left. Everything else was mine was in heaven, the place I was so unfairly kicked out of. I won't let those bastards forget what they've done to me.
"Are you sure you're well enough to leave?" Charlie poked her head through the door, her face was plastered with worry. I don't even think my own sisters in arms shared this kind of concern for me.
I gave her a kind smile "I'm fine. Trust me I've had a lot worse"
"Worse than losing an eye?" She shot me a sceptical look. Ok she has a point.
"Ok maybe not worse than this but I'm a fighter. Not really the type to lay around and be taken care of" I shrugged as I picked up my bag.
"I can tell and it's very impressive don't get me wrong but I'd be more comfortable if you took a few more days of rest-"
"Princess" I placed my hands on her shoulders before taking a deep breath to calm myself "I appreciate the concern but I'm fine. There's something I have to do"
"Ok well at least take this" she handed me a necklace "it's an Asmodeus crystal. It's for good luck"
"Wow I- thank you" I was speechless as that small act of kindness.
She teared up as I put it on. To my surprise she pulled me into a hug "stay safe ok" she whispered to me before letting go. I nodded before stepping out the door. I stared up at the heavens above me with a new resolve.
"I'm coming for you fuckers!"
