Vaggies pov
The two of us returned to the hotel giggling with bags full of shopping.
"Hold still vaggie" she giggled as she tied a pink bow on the back of my hair "hehe you look so cute"
"Thanks" I chuckled softly at her sweet compliments. I took a seat on the crimson sofa as I looked around the hotel. I should have asked about this sooner but "hey Charlie I was wondering, why are you living here in this empty hotel.
"Well actually it's kinda personal" she muttered.
"You don't have to answer-"
"No it's fine" she took a seat next to me "I opened this hotel because I have a dream"
"What kind of dream?" I asked.
She took a deep breath "I've spent years watching my people get brutally murdered over and over again" her eyes held a pain that I wasn't used to seeing in the normally bubbly girl "it broke my heart seeing them get butchered time and time again. They aren't even given a chance!"
She slammed her fist down angrily. I watched her nervously. I've never seen her so angry before and it hurts knowing I took part in it.
She took a deep breath before smiling "so I built this hotel to rehabilitate sinners and give them a chance to go to heaven"
"Wow" I muttered. Out of all the reasons I definitely didn't think it was that.
"You think it's stupid don't you" she looked away sadly.
"No. I think it's lovely" I took her hand with a gentle smile "sure I probably would have thought it was ridiculous a few months ago but if there's someone as amazing as you down here then maybe there's hope for the rest of them"
"Oh vaggie!" She threw her arms around me "thank you. You have no idea how much your support means to me" I smiled as I hugged her back.
"No problem Charlie"
