What the fuck happened.. Alex sat up and looked around. She was in a red booth, with a wooden table. She was at Dave's bar. Alex stood up and then grasped her head and closed her eyes as hard as she could. She thought he head hurt earlier, haha it wasn't anything compared to now. She plopped back down into the seat she woke up in. Still clenching her eyes shut she wished she was sleeping to calm her headache. "Well I'll be damned." A familiar voice said. Alex's eyes shot open to see who the voice belonged to. Once again Alex made eye contact with blue eyes. The eyes starring back at her belonged to Dave's son. Alex could feel her cheeks burning, but she couldn't look away.. "I thought you'd be sleeping all day.." The man walked out from behind the counter and put a rag down. Alex flinched when he started walking to her. The man stopped once be noticed she was terrified. He stood confused then a look of sorrow came across his face. "Don't you worry, I ain't gonna hurt you.." he put his hands up as if Alex was a cop. "Is it okay if I come closer?" He asked. Alex nodded hesitantly. A warm smile appeared upon his face. Alex didn't notice before how strong his cheekbones were, or his impressively white teeth. His smile almost made her melt. He had fangs that were just the perfect size, that was her favorite part when someone smiled. The man sat next to her and the smile left his face. A concerned look appeared. "Are you alright darlin? " he asked. Alex nodded slowly. You've kept it in this long.. don't do it.. don't cry.. Alex felt tears forming in her eyes but she held them back. "Can I get you some water or somethin? " Alex nodded and held the back of her neck. The man got up and started walking to the counter. He was about 3 steps away before he turned around and smiled again. "My name is Rhett, by the way." Alex couldn't help but to blush again.

Once Rhett returned to the table with a ice water he sat across from Alex, which made her uncomfortable for some reason. Alex could feel his eyes studying her, her eyes , face, bruises, cuts.. She tried her hardest to not look back at him. She took a sip of her water and looked around the bar. No one was there.. "What time is it?" Alex asked. Her eyes snapped towards his out of habit, she blushed and looked away. "It's about 5 in the mornin.. I was just closin down before.." he looked away. "So can I take you home or somethin..? " Rhett asked with hesitation. Alex looked at the table. "I uh.. I don't have.." Alex looked up and made eye contact with Rhett, his eyes were sad, not for himself, but for her. Once Alex's eyes began to water, Rhett instantly removed the sadness, and with a smile he asked "I'm not gonna just be leavin you here after what happened, if you want, I can bring you home with me?" Alex smirked a bit as she noticed Rhett's eyes became bigger and his smile turned to a frown. "Not saying I'm bringin you home to get in your jeans , just so you have a place for tonight? And I ain't sayin I don't want to get in your pants, I mean, you're really pretty and all..." Rhett became extremely red as he hung his head from his shoulders, Alex was smirking still. Rhett sighed and looked back up. Round two Alex laughed to herself. "I think you're real beautiful,.. I have a hard time talking to pretty girls I guess.." Alex shot a grin "you guess?" She said with a fake laugh. Rhett sighed and looked her in her eyes. "Yeah.. Ive talked to girls before and all.. but ain't none of em were as close to beautiful as you.." Alex looked away to hide her blushed cheeks. "I'm sorry if I'm makin you uncomfortable, I know we ain't known each other all that long.. but .. I just want you to know that.. well I seen you've been hurt..and used.. but I ain't like that, I'm not gonn use you.. and I sure as hell ain't gonna hurt you.. I'd never hurt you.." The look in his eyes were promising, Alex tried her hardest to not cry. None has ever been so nice to her.. she smiled at him and nodded. He smiled widely. "So you wanna come over?" Alex smiled and nodded. "Yeah, sure." Rhett smiled and stood up. "Alright, I just gotta put a few things away and we'll be outta here." Alex watched him stand up, she quickly got to her feet before he could stand fully. "Want some help?" Alex asked. Rhett did a little half smile. "Nawh , you just sit here and be a good girl. " he winked at her before walking away. He needs to stop with this blushing stuff.. Alex sat and smiled to herself.
