Summer's ending

Chapter 7

Hi!!!! If you got any notifications about the book it's just me updating a few things on the book. Don't worry nothing changed. I was just fixing a few mistakes I made that I didn't notice. But anyways here's chapter 7! Enjoy!

Charlotte's P.O.V
As we were heading to the airport, I noticed that my knuckles were starting to bleed from punching that dickhead.

I didn't really care so I just left it alone. It didn't hurt that bad. "Who was that?" Says dad out of curiosity. "Oh..him? He's nobody." I look out the window. "Well if you punched him like that, he had to be someone..." I didn't say anything.

We left it alone for awhile but I knew dad wasn't gonna let that go. He isn't like that. Plus, if anyone hurts his daughter they're not going anywhere without a beat down. I'm lucky dad didn't see everything that happened just the punch and us saying a few words to each other and him walking away. It wasn't like I killed someone. Although he should have come out to where we were.

When we arrived at the airport we did the same thing as usual. We got checked and headed to the plane -I've never been on one so I'm just guessing.-  The ride wasn't bad. Just bumpy. I felt like throwing up when we were in the air but I got used to it for the first few hours. It's actually a cool view.

I felt my dad's hand place itself on my leg. I look up and see him smiling at me so I smile back. Karen was working on a book she's been wanting to do for a long time so we usually just leave her be. It's nice having a family vacation right when you're out of school.

I felt my butt vibrate so I just reach for my back pocket and grab my phone. Shit! I forgot to call Lacey back. She sent me a message saying that I didn't say anything to her before I left. I thought it would be best if I didn't, but I guess not.

I FaceTimed her for awhile telling her how awesome the view is up here. She was excited for me but sad at the same time. I have a feeling Mckenzie's mad at me also but didn't want anything to do with me. That hit me like a truck real hard just thinking about it. This sucks, leaving them , but i kind of need a vacation. So I'm just going to relax and enjoy the ride.
