Summer's ending

Chapter 3

Hello luvs! Here's chapter 3!

Charlotte's P.O.V
As soon as I'm in my room I jump on my bed and quickly tell Mckenzie and Lacey to come for an "emergency meeting"

I hear the doorbell ring and I race down the stairs and almost hit my toe on the door frame. "I got it!!!" "hey!!!" Mckenzie's wearing the same plaid shirt with a tank top under it with dark skinny jeans and combat boots with her hair in a side braid. "What's up? Why the emergency meeting?" I see Lacey running up the stairs to meet the door so I already opened the it. "What's up?"says Lacey breathing loudly. "Uh....before you get mad....let's head up to my room." I lead them up the dark wood stairs going up to the room.

I turn to them and look them in the eyes for I don't even know how long but I finally decide to spit out what I was going to say."Ok. I won't be able to hang with you guys this summer." Lacey's eyes widen. Mckenzie's eyes turn to a darker green. "What?! What about my party?!" "I won't be able to make it." I say putting both my hands in my back pocket. I look at both of them and I feel this sharp pain in my stomach that makes me want to fall on the floor but I try to keep myself up. "guys? Please talk to me."there was a long pause between the three of us. "How are long are you going?" Lacey looks up with her dark blue eyes. "Two weeks." She looks down. I feel so bad. I hate this feeling!

"But....." They both look up and I can see a little hope in their eyes. "When I get back.....I promise I will tell you all the details and then we can all go out and go shopping!" I jump and do the jazz hands. They both give me a small smile. "See? Guys." I squeeze in between them sitting on my bed and put both my arms around them. ".....I'll be back before you know it." I smile at them. They both give me a small smirk knowing that it won't be ok. "Wait!" Mckenzie jumps up with her hands wrapping her arms on her chest. "When are you leaving?!" "Um...I'm pretty sure two days from now." "Well let's make the best of it!!!! We can all go shopping!" "im down!"I say with excitement. My friends know when I don't mean to do something and then we end up forgetting everything.

I still hate that I'm leaving them.......
