“I finally have official proof! This 'Start State' thing sounds impressive… for someone like him at least… I kind of want to see it in person! It's quite stupid of him to say that directly, but hey, who am I to protest?” Said Luna with excitement.

“Anyone want to challenge him in a match?” Luna asked Adam and Dada. “Why not? This will be easy!” Dada snickered.
“We are some of the best players in the world. I’ll consider this as a regular warm-up,” Adam added. "Just make sure to not barge into our room, just because you have the key."

The three agreed and set a date and time for the match two days from now.

The Next day

Luna walked into the cafeteria the next morning and looked for Isagi to ask him if he wanted to show them his skills in a match.

“Hey Isagi!” Luna yelled from across the room as he started to walk towards him. All eyes suddenly turned to him. Some were glaring from yesterday's event.

“We got your letter yesterday and were wondering if you wanted to be in a match with us. Just a simple 5v5 tomorrow at three thirty.”
“Uhm. A 5v5... Tomorrow? Why now all of a sudden?”
“Well, you were talking about your little 'Star State' thing and me, Adam, and Dada wanted to see you in it in person.”

There was a long pause as they stared at each other.

“Can I think about it?” Isagi weakly replied.
“Come on Isagi. Just say yes or no. I don’t want to wait,” Luna started to press him more.
“Do I get to pick my own team? And are you gonna choose two other people for your team?”
“Yes, yes you can choose your own and obviously I'm going choose more players. It's a 5v5,” Luna scoffed. “Hmm. Okay I guess,” Isagi sighed in defeat.
Luna smiled, “Nice! I’ll be ready. Good luck,” Luna said as he waved his hand goodbye and left.

Isagi was begging, crying, and on his knees for Rin to join him in his 5v5 against Luna. Of course, being the ignorant persona he already is, Rin blatantly refused to our pleading kitten.

"Pleaseee? C'mon Rin, they're gonna mock me to death!"
"As if I care about that. I have no business with you, so tick off!"
"Rin-chan~ it's mean for you to say that. I can accompany you if you want, Isagi," Bachira offered.

Isagi's eyes shone pure relief as he took in a deep breath and nodded. Bachira is a skillful player, he would help him blend in more.

"Thanks, Bachira! Who else do you think I should ask?"
"Idk~ Why don't you think of it yourself?"

And so, Isagi went here, there, and everywhere, searching for players willing to do a rematch.

"Ha? You mocking me?" Barou retorted.
"It's too much of a hassle," Nagi went back to sleep.
"Sorry, I'm treating my leg, sorry again," Chigiri apologized.

Isagi and Bachira sat down in the cafeteria, tired after going back and forth.

"Maybe we should give up. No one wants to meet them again," Isagi sighed.
"Aww, I was really looking for another match," Bachira whined.
"I should tell Luna that I cancel the match. I'm ready to put my pride on the edge."

Just then, the cafeteria door shot open and Reo went straight to Isagi, holding his shoulders.

"Are you still looking for players? I'll play."
"R- Reo? All of a sudden? What happened?"
"I want to test my skills. I want to prove my worthiness to Nagi."

Isagi then remembered that after Nagi chose him as his teammate, Reo hated him, and wanted to show how Nagi will always need him. Isagi then thought of how humiliated Reo must've felt when he asked Isagi for 'help'.
