4:05 pm
I was waiting out side the school for Brandon to take me home. He walked out with a group of guys. They all stared at me then waved like I was 5 years old. I just simply waved back. One of the boys walked up to me."So, why are you standing here?" Brandon came over here and grabbed my hand as we walked to his car.
"What's wrong with you?" he asked me.
"What, I'm just trying to make friends."
"He is just messed up and stupid okay."
"Whatever." I got in the car and waited on him as he talked to his friends some more. If this nigga don't hurry up. He dapped up his friends and got in the car.
"Where do you live?" He asked me as he started up the car.
"398 Widows Lane. It's in that neighborhood that is only 15 minutes away."
"What neighborhood?"
"Brook Bridge." I said and just looked out the window. How is he supposed to tell me who to be friends with.
The car ride was silent for a good 10 minutes. Until he spoke.
"Are you mad at me?"
" Yeah."
" Why?" He asked with a confused face.
" Because your telling whom to be friends with and who I shouldn't be friends with."
" I just don't want you around him-"
"Why?"
" Can you let me finish, because he fucks a girl and then leaves them. He doesn't give a fuck about a girl and their feelings."
" Well, maybe he just wanted to be my friend."
" Sure, what ever." He pulled up at my house. As I opened the door he grabbed my hand and pulled me back into the car.
"Don't me be mad at me." then he kissed me. Not a peck on the lips but it was, long. I had to pull away so it doesn't turn into something else.
"Bye Brandon. " I closed the car door and left.
6:34
My phone started to ring while I was doing my hair.
"Hello.""Hey Aaliyah, it's Brandon."
" What do you want?"
"Damn I can't get a hey Brandon. "
" hey Brandon, now what do you want?"
" I wanted to take you to a party with me Saturday night. So you wanna come?"
" Sure."
" Okay see you on Saturday at 8:45. Bye." He made a kiss noise.
" Okay bye." I hung up and the front door opened. I put my hair up in a bun and went downstairs to see if it was my dad.
" Hey honey."
"Hey dad." I gave him a hug and walked into the kitchen.
"So how was school today?"" It was okay. One of my new friends took me to go to Subway for lunch since the schools lunch is nasty. And I got lost multiple times. "
" Well, I'm off to go pack my bags for tomorrow." he kisses my forehead and went up stairs. I just can't wait for him to leave. I made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and watched TV.
My phone was vibrating from a text message that says.
Hey, when can I come over. I'm in town for the two weeks with you because your dad told me to watch you😂💁🏾
It was from my best friend from Phoenix. Hillary, and I have known each other for 5 years now. Why would my dad send her to watch me. For two weeks wouldn't she have to go to school with me? Plus Hillary can be crazy and forget about me to go with some guy and rub it all in my face about the fact that she has a boyfriend.
"Why you 😩😘💕💍" I texted back
" Because I'm cute duh☺️"
" In what country are you cute 😂😂"
"Fuck you 😑🌵"
"Love you too 😘"
My phone started to ring and it was Brandon, again.
" Hey cutie. "
" Hey Brandon, is it okay if I bring one of my friends to the party Saturday?"
" Uh who is this friend?"
"One of my friends from Phoenix. Her name is Hillary"
"Sure. So I want to take you shopping with me tomorrow after school. "
" Can you bring your friends?"
"For what?"
"At least one of them for Hillary. Also she won't be going to our school so you'll have to drive back to my house to get her."
" Yeah. So what you doin'?"
" Just eating and watching TV. "
" Really why you so boring?" He kind of whined.
" What other friends do I have here?"
" I was just playin I'll call you tomorrow. Bye Liyah."
"Bye Brandon." I hung up and went to my room to go to sleep it was now 10:43 pm.
