Past- A match

Before Andy's present school, he was studying at 'The Divine'. He studied there for 3 years. During his third year there was guy called Ross. He was an introvert person. He was not interacting with anyone that much. His academic performance was good. Andy was jealous and irritated by his performance. Ross always used to keep his notes intact. He was also good at sports. Volleyball and basketball were his expertise. All girls were attracted to him. Some even proposed him but he rejected. He used to avoid them. Some girls would call him to the birthday parties but he wouldn't go but he used to share notes. 

Along with Andy, each boy was covetous because of his popularity. No one preferred to interact with him more. Andy was good at basketball so one day he challenged him. Whenever Ross played basketball with other boys, he used to win every match. Andy thought if he could defeat Ross, he would gain respect and popularity. Ross accepted his challenge. 

They both agreed to keep the match after two days practice. Everyone became interested with it. A one v one match and it was for 21 points. Girls were supporting Ross and Boys were supporting Andy. All the students came together and decided to book a court for the match. Everyone contributed for the court. On match day, all the students called them and they were surprised watching it. All were cheering them. Before the match, there was bet that if Ross wins, boys will help girls during events. Whenever an event occurs, girls were appointed for the work like decoration, cleaning the class and stage etc. Some boys would help them but they wanted all the boys to work for them. Everyone agreed to it.

 If Andy wins, boys could choose anyone and date them for 1 week. Boys put some conditions to make it interesting.

1. No one should reject a boy for the date.

2. The wishes should be completed by girls without any hesitation.

Boys made it clear that except sex, anything can be asked. They meant like girls should spend their money on every dates. A boy can eat whatever food he likes and the bill should be paid by them. If a boy asks a gift they should give them. Some of them wanted to ask for a kiss.

Some girls were shocked and some were interested so they also added that all the decoration expenses should be covered by the boys. Boys argued with them but they said this is fair enough or else they don't want any bet. After that, they had no choice but to agree.

The match time was 20 min. It started and Ross scored 3 points first. Whoever scores the points will receive the ball. Then again 2 points and then he performed a beautiful layup and gained 1 point. Andy was shocked but boys were supporting him and he didn't lose hope because of that. Ross had the ball; he took his chance and tried to score 3 points but Andy defended it. Andy collected the ball as it slipped from Ross's hands. He went for a layup and gained 1 point. Andy had an advantage and that was his agility.

 He got the ball and faked his shot from 3 pointers and then went for 2 pointers and gained 2 points. The score was Andy-3 and Ross- 6. Andy had the ball but Ross's guard was tight. Andy threw the ball at the basket board and then it rebounded to the right direction. He went their quickly and took a shot and the crowd went wild. He gained 2 points.

Ross appreciated him and boys were like "Bro crazy shot." There was a break and Andy was 2 points behind. In the end there was 30 sec left and Ross was 1 point behind. Each boy was thinking we will have our dream for 1 week. Ross had the ball and the time was ticking. Andy was on guard. For 15 sec, Ross was dribbling thinking about how to win, he saw the time again and he had no choice but to end it with a layup. Ross broke his defense and his last minute ad reline rush saved him and he scored 1 point. Crowd went wild. It was a tie match and the bet was off from both the sides but everyone cheered them for a wonderful game. They shouted for 2 min. Andy and Ross shook their hands and said "Good game." They earned everyone's respect.
