Coming back to Jack's progress, his subscribers were the same. At home, he didn't tell anyone yet. Some of his parent's friends started calling him. They were advising him about his studies and career. Apparently, his mom told some of their friends about Jack's progress. She told them to talk to Jack. He received a call, saying that he should leave all the extra activities and focus on studies. He received 2 to 3 calls saying the same thing.
He just agreed to it. At night, he was having family dinner and they started saying someone's story again. They said "Well, you have to achieve as them." Jack shouted "Well, that's enough. You don't even care or trust me. When I achieve something, if you guys take credit that you supported me, I am going to kill you."
His mom said "Mind your words!" Jack said "Shut up and don't ever say about my progress to anyone." He went to his room and locked it. The next morning, he apologized to them. He was awake all night thinking that "What if I run away. If I do that, there will no food or shelter. I am getting those basic resources for free and why waste that." That thought made him to apologize to them.
Few days later, he received a message form a guy called James. He wanted to collaborate with Jack. Jack was eager to collaborate with James but he had this second thought like "I don't know him so how can I do it." At last, he took a chance. He texted him back and said "How do you want to do this?"
He texted "This is my first time and since I don't know you. I am going to suggest that we will start with mixing your beats and my beats together." Jack thought "He also have same thoughts as me." Jack said "I agree with you." He was from Australia. They agreed they would submit their beats to each other after 2 weeks. James asked him "You take lessons?" Jack said "Yep I know some." He lied to him. James said "Nice, I do to. Well, after two weeks we will meet again."
