The next day, after classes, Jack had a book with him. He wanted to give to Monica so that he could ask her number. He approached her but she was with her friend. Her name was Emily and she was fat. Jack said "Hey, do you want this book. It's too good." Emily laughed and said "Your out of luck, she already read that."
Jack thought "Fucker did I ask you. Can't you just shut up and can't you go to a gym and make a diet plan." Jack asked again. Monica said "As Emily said, I read it." After hearing it, Jack felt embarrassed. He went home and called Charles. He invited him to his house. Jack went there and said everything. Charles said "Well, why don't you ask her for another book and along with that, her number." Jack said "It will become too obvious."
Charles said "Just try." Jack said "Ok bro." The next day, again after classes he went near Monica asked her for a book. Monica said "I will bring you a book tomorrow." Jack said "OK." He went back and called Charles and said "It didn't work." Charles said "Bro create an Instagram account and ask her the Id." Jack said "Good idea." The next day, she gave the book and he took his shot and asked her Id. She asked "Why?" Jack said "Just for emergencies."
She felt suspicious but she agreed. She gave him the id. He went home and created an account of his own and sent her a request. As he agreed to text only on emergencies, he couldn't text anything. Again a reason is required to text. My thinking is, a casual texts are just enough in the beginning. Well, Jack was scared so a reason was just an excuse to get out of not texting her.
