Up All Night (sequel to little things)

Chapter 39

Christine’s p.o.v.

*later that day*

The twins were with Zayn and Janell; I was going to Alaina’s to get ready for the date. When I got there McKenzie did my make-up (baby blue eye shadow, a little blush and some mascara) Alaina did my hair curly, and they both picked out my outfit (a blue cocktail dress with a pair of blue converse) when they were done, I looked in the mirror I looked pretty good not too much makeup, hair not too curly, and dress not too tight and shoes just perfect. We sat at the table (well, they sat at the table, Alaina made me stand so I didn’t mess up the dress.) Liam and Niall came in and Alaina and McKenzie walked with us out to the car Alaina and McKenzie drove with us. When they stopped the car it was in front of the fanciest restaurant in all of London. I walked in and Harry was the only one in there he stood up as I walked in and pulled my chair out and then pushed it in for me. He sat down across from me. The waitress came out and Harry ordered a bottle of champagne for both of us.

“I’ll be right back I got to go to the bathroom,” I said. Harry nodded. I got up and walking to the bathroom. I went in and stood in front of the mirror I just sat there staring at my reflection for what felt like forever. When I finally came back to reality I walked out and back to the table. We ordered our food and ate. After we were done we had dessert.

“Christine,” Harry said.

“Yes harry,” I asked, looking up at him.

“Well……um…….we have been together for about a year now and we already have two kids together. We’ve been through a lot together I was wondering, Christine huff, will you marry me,” he asked getting down on one knee and holding out the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. It had one good sized sapphire and a lot of small diamonds around it. I was speechless.

“So, will you,” he asked looking worried.

“Yes,” I said. He let out the breath he was holding. He put the ring on my hand; I hugged him and kissed him. We went outside and Liam, Niall, McKenzie, and Alaina. We’re sitting in the car outside harry and I got in and went home.

I changed into pjs and sat on the bed and was playing with the ring on my hand. Harry came in and fell asleep with his arms around me and I fell asleep with my head buried in his chest.
