1. Me and my husband

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞

one night i was at home sat on my couch reading. then all of a sudden i get a phone call. it was my husband christian.
"𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲"
he says.
"𝐡𝐢?" i say back knowing full well whats going on
"𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬 𝐮𝐩 𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬" i think to myself thwt its weird because hes never called me that. Hes only ever called me pretty or beautiful. I knew he was drunk somewhere. Then i heard someone elses voice.
"𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧, 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐨 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐛 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬"
I drop my phone and start breaking down.
Another women? I mumble to myself in pain and shock.
I hang up the phone and slowly walk up the stairs. I start getting ready for bed, i settle in and watch some bridgerton in bed.
The next morning i walk down stairs too see christian lying on the sofa stinking like pure alcohol. I tend to ignore him but he kept shouting my name. i make my coffee and walk out the door towards my car. as i'm driving i hear the song "sweater weather" starting to play on my radio so i turn it up. as soon as i get to the nursery i see marjorie rushing out the door

i turn away as marjorie walks down the car park to her car.
i unlock the door and immediately see carly
"𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲"
"𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫! 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐬 𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲?"
"𝐧𝐨 𝐢𝐦 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐢𝐟 𝐬𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞"
she just says okay and turns to walk towards the baby room. i walk into the office and see autumn on her computer emailing a parent really aggressively. i sit down in marjorie's chair and just get some paper work done for her as autumn pops in and out from time to time throughout the time marjorie was gone.
she comes into the office with an irritated look on her face.
"𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞?"
"𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐢𝐦 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞"
i start walking out but as i start to shut the door i hear marjorie ranting on about something to autumn. so i basically turn into carly for a quick moment and start listening in.

i couldn't beleive he had hired her out of all people. i could tell reece wasn't happy about it either considering he told roger to step outside.
