2. Divorce

𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞

after work i drove home to the sound of sweater weather in my car again. i get home and see christian in the kitchen getting a drink. the temptation to just talk to him about last night but i just couldn't. i went straight upstairs into our bedroom and got changed into my lounge wear to watch bridgerton. christian calls my name too talk too me. he noticed i was being off with him this morning and now and he asked me about it.
"𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐦𝐞?"
I just sit there in silence and dont answer. He grabs hold of my arm tight and pulls me closer too him.
"𝐰𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨 𝐨𝐟𝐟!!" he shouts. i try to pull myself away but i just couldn't his grip was too tight for me to just pull back.
"𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨!!" i said in an angry amd scared manner.
"𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞. 𝐈𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰." i could tell he was really mad that i wasnt telling him anything. I slowly start to breakdown as his grip gets tighter and tighter.
"𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐠𝐨!! 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞."
"𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐝."
"𝐈 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐀 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄" i scream.
He lets go and just glares at me. Im holding my wrist as its throbbing in pain.
"𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭." he says. I could tell he got more and more amgry so  tried walking away, but with every step, he got closer and closer each time.
"𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞." he says calmly until he gets more mad.
"𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃?! 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄 𝐌𝐄?"
"𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐇𝐔𝐑𝐓 𝐌𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐖."
im out of breath from shouting. I cant beleive what just happened.
"𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞. 𝐈𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐲." he walks out and slams the door.  i fall onto the floor breaking down over it. my wrist hurting and my heart pounding from fear. what now?
the next morning i wake up on my couch. still in shock over what happened. either way im gonna try be myself for the others. i don't want them to see im struggling because there probably struggling with there own problems. i get dressed and start driving to work. i get to work and i get called into the office.
i got told im working in the sister nursery but reece is off sick so the new deputy will be there.
after the rant marjorie had about her i'm a bit worried to meet her. thank god marjorie had already told me what room i'm in. i didn't want to go in the office.
i went straight to the baby room and was helping some of the children with there breakfast. and after i get them ready to go outside into the garden while another staff member was taking away the bowls.

i was minding my own business in the office but when i saw the most beautiful women i have ever seen in my life in the garden with the childeren. i try find the files of all the staff members including the ones from the sister nursery because im pretty sure ive never seen her before. a short while later i find her file with a little picture of her attached to her paper work with a paper clip. damn she's so pretty.
